Would anyone still do the older raids?
I'm just wondering if anyone still bothers doing VoG or Croata's End? I'd understand if the majority opinion was "no" since most of the gear probably doesn't do much for anybody that's at endgame now, but I'd think it'd be fun to try and breeze through them at lvl 40.
EDIT: Glad to see the response is mostly in favour of still doing them. Lot of people, like myself included, are still hungry to try and find the last few pieces of gear for their collections. Hopefully this gets a lot people interested, since each raid can only be looted once per week, and I'd be bored as shit myself constantly waiting on King's Fall if I complete it early on.
Edit 2: Forgot to throw this in, but my gamertag is the same as my name for people looking to hook up on 360.

Once you get all the exotics, you really don't need to run those raids ever again

From a loot perspective there is really no point doing them unless you want to get a chance at an exotic drop. I'm not sure if 2.0 exotics are dropping in raids though. (Someone please let me know). I would still love to do them for fun once I'm caught up with the current content. However from a gear and loot perspective I am well aware that I am wasting my time.

I will still be doing the old raids. I like soloing crota and I got to the gatekeepers solo before the heavy ammo glitch was fixed. I can't speak for everyone in the community obviously because everything is out of date but I enjoy them.

1 ReplyI've yet to do any of the Raids. Put simply I don't have enough regularly playing real world friends to do one. So until Bungie finally sees common sense, adds the matchmaking which has been requested since day one, it'll probably stay that way.

Materials for motes and Glimmer. Unique-compared-to-TTK-gear, gear. Grimoire (raid completions). Using Swords against bosses. Using sidearms for bosses. Alegiance runs, for those of you who dont know what these are: I choose a faction/manufacturer and use their gear only.
