I wouldn't mind religious/atheist threads if they were a place for intelligent conversation and sharing of ideas. I myself am religious, while my friend is an atheist. We respect each other's point of view, and even have conversations explaining various aspects of our beliefs. Sadly, a majority of people here have no respect for anyone, and just want to argue and "prove they're right", not hear the other party out, and maybe learn something.

I would argue against religious threads being banned, because they can actually provide some sort of actual discussion, but they cause so much toxicity that banning them would be a great change to these forums.

As much as I dislike religion, I love the debate. Its pretty fun to argue with stubborn people online, idk know why but I like it.
