I'm having the exact same problem still, none of the suggested fixes work, I'm still guessing it's a problem at bungies end rather than a hardware one. Getting sick of looking at the oops, something bad happened screen. I can't even play the old content I've basically paid for a game that doesn't work at all now.

I paid with paypal and am disputing the purchase. if i get my money back I will try ingame and get a code..not sure what else to do. Microsoft and activision (bungie) are just playing ping pong with me as opposed to helping...
