You would only have to move on once. After that, you can infuse anything you want and it will never become obsolete.

Or they could just reverse it like with E.Light. Also, you have to Infuse two items from the same year, meaning the gear will be worthless next September.

You really think that when destiny 2 comes you'll be able to infuse your ttk weapons ?? Think again. Bungievision will freeze them like they did the y1 ones. ....

I'm starting to doubt that there will be a Destiny 2. I think it's going to be all expansions.

I think the new infusion system will prevent that because every expansion will have stronger gear. If there's stronger gear, then there's infusion material that can be used for the taken king gear.

Yes i know that but they can still decide to leave gear behind. They could have given infusion ability to year one weapons but they didn't. I wouldn't bet against them doing it again and dumping weapons and infusion for something else

I don't mind it. The fun thing about the gear is finding something new and seeing if it's good or not.

But what if it's [b]not[/b]. In fact, [b]most[/b] year 2 gear sucks compared to year 1, that's why they nerfed and locked year 1 gear. You won't have to grind for sucky gear(and pad play time numbers) if the stuff you already have is better than the new stuff. BUNGIE [b]knows[/b] this. I may [i]like[/i] my new Suros AR, but I'm not in [i]love[/i] with it like my Hard Light. None of the new weapons feel(gameplay wise) as good as year 1 IMO.

Because year 1 had a lot of broken guns. Why u think bungie made em obsolete? Year 1 weapon balancing was awful with a bit of bright spots here and there. Year 2 weapons are for the most part balanced

True but I get annoyed with the endless grind to get things. I don't mind working for things but having to do endless repetitive stuff time and again to get better gear can get monotonous
