Antiquated Rune
Has anyone else given the Antiquated Rune a shot in the court of oryx? Just got done trying it with 6 others and couldn't even get the bosses health halfway down. Any thoughts?
Edit: got it done with a 3 man team you guys were right it's easy when you get the buff

I've done it about 9 times

Did one run the day before yesterday with 2 randoms and beat them first try. I'd say it depends on which enemies you get. I don't remember exactly (too much playtime in the last few days) but i believe we had the witch, double-knights and centurion. Didn't award decent loot though, but lots of engrams

It's easy bro, What you need to do is shoot the acoylte's eye's that appear and who ever shoots them get's a buff towards ogre's that does serious damage, As soon as ogre is dead you need to go on the platform and deal as much damage as you can to the witch, try killing if you can ( swords are really good ) If you can't kill her the 1st time you need to kill the ogre that appears again by shooting the eyes and getting the buff then kill the witch.

Done it with 2 other random people on patrol, second go, fairly easy.

Have two people up the front behind that pillar in the middle on the stage shooting at the ogre. Have two on either side of the field behind the walls and the rest behind the rocks at the back. The two at the back will help when ogres go for the rest. Shoot the eyes and it'll give you bonus damage and yes these do stack. Take down the ogre but save your super because you'll need it for the wizard. Once the ogre is down run up onto the stage and use your heavy, super, everything you have because once the ogre goes down you only have so much time to kill the wizard before another spawns. Its really easy once you work it out. -We had everyone chilling behind the rocks just as you just into the court -you then need to shoot 1 of the eyes each then target the big orge as this makes you do heaps more damage -As soon as the 2 smaller orges spawn you should target them straight away (make sure you kill an eye before attacking them) - repeat until you are about to kill the big orge and as soon as you do everyone charges the platform and supers out the wizard ingnoring any of the other ogres if they spawn.

We did that tune mtiple times Ina. Team of 6. Kill the eyes , fire the boss orge, be aware of the non-boss ogres The boss orge should be the only boss you should be damaging. When the boss orge is killed rush to the wizard And unleash everything, supers , swords , shotguns, just keep nailing her.

2 RepliesWe almost got it first try but the wizard got its shield before we could get the killing blow. It is actually really easy. Shoot the eyes Kill ogre Everyone rush wizard and go ham with swords or whatever you got.

Me and my two friends 3 manned it, it's not that hard.

We tried one time and didn't quite understand what to do and then got it on the second time. We had 5-6 people there. Several stood under the platform shooting the eyes and normal ogres, while others ducked behind the rocks DPSing the Servile Ogre as best as they could. Upon taking down the Servile Ogre, we all bum rushed the Wizard with our supers -Nightstalkers and Storm Callers- and heavies. Swords are great for the wizard portion, but everything works. You have to kill the wizard quickly or the Servile Ogre respawns, so take the wizard down as fast as possible. Try to have a few higher light level players when you try it. One friend -who had the antiquated rune- was roughly 250 and barely did any damage to the yellow bar enemies.

Tried it with 6 other people. We got -blam!-. I mean i was doing alright, but the scrubs in my area were definitely not ready.

Have 1 preferably defender titan handle smaller ogres. Burst down primary ogre. Then unleash everything on boss. Did it with 5 others.

3 Replies1st time we tried it we finished the bounty for doing it in under 2 min. It's not too bad just keep your multiplier up and clear the small ogres before they get to you.
