This isn't going to be the usual political poll. Instead of focusing on left or right, I figured I would ask the flood what you are closer too in terms of principles on how issues should be handled, ie, libertarian vs. authoritarian.

I'm kinda torn. On the one hand, I believe that people should have the freedom to do whatever they want, provided it isn't harmful to others. On the other, I think most people are too stupid to choose direction in their own life, or waste potential that could benefit society as a whole on pointless things.

Evidently this.

Half of these people (probably more) can't accurately define those two terms

I don't care much for politics. If I had to choose I'd prefer to not choose at all. However, since politics pertain to my rights and freedoms I have to give somewhat of a shit about them. So I'd have to choose;
Turnip. lel
All of them are trashy

I feel that all political labels are bs, its best to actually talk about issues you care about.
-
I will be running for the Turnip Party in 2020. Vote me into office and turnips will get the rights they deserve!

I think that alot of people are confused (deliberately so in some cases) by the concept of Libretarianism. Alot of proponents of Libretarianism do not understand that sometimes a lack of regulation actually breeds less freedom and creates inequality for the majority. Do not confuse a removal of responsibility with the protection of ones "rights"
-
Reduced government has always correlated to more discrimination. Even since early America, whenever federalists didn't have power that's when rights went away from minirities. Some ppl think gov is dumb and should stay out of things, but I'd rather trust gov than uneducated fools. Btw, America has one of the lowest taxes yet they still complain about it (since before the birth of America they did) Good gov funding means better infrastructure and better education. When gov has no money America turns into what it is now Oh and the assistance plans are to help cusion the falls that are inevitable with expansion and compression of economics, preventing depressions. When things are deregulated or not regulated enough, recession happens

I took a little quiz and it said moderate. But... I would say authoritarian, I guess? However there was a question about drafting for the military and I am absolutely, totally, 100% against that.

We need a good Turnip candidate for 2016.

That's a tough question. I would say I lean libertarian, but only just barely.
