Where I do agree with the philosophy of paying for more, new things where you can choose not to if you want to continue to use old, dated things you've already paid for in the past, I think it's rotten that Bungie has actually closed some of those old things off.
For example, you could do the Nightfall before, and now you can't. You've lost a year 1 Nightfall playlist because you didn't pay to come to year 2. That isn't right. You should still have access to everything that you used to have access to. Gear, playlists, and otherwise. You should just be locked out of the new stuff that everyone else will be playing, now.
But hey, it's not my business. Just bail and find something you enjoy and maybe they'll get the message.

You can still use your old stuff, guess what? You can't enter new playlists or maps unless you pay for them, OH NO, CHEAT, SHENANIGANS!

Edited by JHarv: 9/18/2015 8:37:43 AMWhat? People who bought the original Destiny game got Nightfalls with it, and now they were taken away because they didn't pay more. That's the point. Why do people lose what they used to have because they didn't buy ADDITIONAL content?
-
Because you're level 34 right now, you can't have nightfall or else level 40's would go there to get their rewards.

Edited by SooperSmurph: 9/18/2015 8:40:49 AMYou paid for 1 year of current content. A year has passed, buy the new content or stfu.

What is wrong with people. Why do you defend the game and bungie? You'd like to just take your -blam!-ing quietly I guess. Or you enjoy seeing everyone else -blam!-ed. I bought the taken king. But I think it's bullshit that people who didn't are getting bent over. Maybe you should stfu

Not defending anything, laughing at dumb kids who want free things.

Sigh your clueless and have no knowledge on how the industry works. The people who are complaining dont want free stuff they want the stuff they Paid for.

5 years ago on consoles did you ever purchase a game that later was stripped of content? Hell no. Why is it okay now?
-
Because the company that produced that game was about 2 dozen people or less. Once they sold the initial game, they all had enough income to devote time to dlcs. Bungie is just like Blizzard, lots of employees who need the company to come out with new content to ensure their careers.
