Xbox One:
• From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
• Press the Menu button on your controller
• Select "Manage Game"
• Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
These instructions might work if TTK content appeared in the "Manage Game" section. But it does not. It is neither installed nor uninstalled. In fact it does not appear at all.
I purchased the $40 standard Destiny: The Taken King through Xbox Live (after being unable to purchase it directly through the Director). My Microsoft account shows that the purchase was made, but TTK content does not appear as an available content for DL. On one hand, in-game, Destiny states "Requires the Taken King". But on the other, if I attempt to purchase the $40 standard version through the Director, then it states, "You already own The Taken King", and gives me the option to install. Selecting this option takes me to a screen that has the heading, "Manage Taken King" located just below my gamerpic at the top of an otherwise blank screen.
UPDATE: as a balm for the frustration associated with trying to get this TTK nonsense resolved, I thought I'd just enjoy some non-TTK diversion in the crucible. Adding insult to injury, I find that playing crucible is now not an option without TTK!
So, we have access to neither the new content we paid for NOR the older content we had previously purchased.
...wow....
