Will there be a sequel to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor someday? If u think that there'll be a sequel, what would u wanna see in it? More brutal executions? New enemies? New locations within Mordor itself? Vote and discuss now!

Edited by Stormtroupe: 9/18/2015 6:01:31 PMThe thing is that they cant do anything too crazy because Middle Earth Enterprises is notoriously strict with licensing agreements. Everything has to fight nice and neatly into one canon universe.

Id like to see a game that isnt afraid to cover the actual main LOTR story instead of minor side stories

Here's my wish list for enemies in SoM2. Main villains: Sauron (obviously) Mouth Of Sauron The Nazgul (Ringwraiths) Enemies: Uruk-Hai Trolls Easterlings Haradrim Black Numenoreans Warg Riders Wildlife: Great Beasts Feral Trolls Wargs Fell Beasts (those Wyvern-like creatures that the Nazgul rode on in The Two Towers and The Return Of The King.)

I have an idea for the overall story of Shadow Of Mordor 2 if it ever happens.... SPOILER ALERT!!!
Ok, since Talion stated, and I quote, "The time has come for a new ring.", and his eyes glowed with a yellow hue at the end of SoM, maybe SoM2 will focus on an inner struggle of morality with Talion. Think about it. If Talion forges a new ring, he might become something far more wicked and terrible than Sauron himself. That would lead to a dark ending where he might become the new Bright Lord like Celebrimbor was before Sauron got the One Ring back and beat the shit out of him. These powers that Talion would wield would ultimately corrupt and damn his soul. But, if Talion resists these temptations, he and Celebrimbor can move on into the afterlife. Celebrimbor can finally be at peace and Talion would reunite with his family. What do u think about that? But, that's only if the One Ring is ultimately destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom.
Eh, I don't know if there will be a sequel. I guess the way it ended hinted at a sequel. We'll see.
-
Hopefully. I'd just want more ghost powers, and a better final boss.

There's a few things that I want to see in a sequel to Shadow Of Mordor if it happens. I want to explore the Plains Of Gorgoroth, fight against the Uruk-Hai, and visit Mount Doom and Barad-Dur itself!

Well they end the game on quite a cliff hanger. The game sold fairly well and was received well.
-
They(Warner Bros) are paying for the license. They will use it if they think the series has a potential for future success. I'm sure there will be another game in the style of Shadow of Mordor that uses the Lord of the Rings license. It was too big of a hit not to.

I thought shadow of mordor was bad, so I really don't care.
-
The ending clearly hinted (directly alluded) a sequel. I wouldn't mind a sequel, just hope they improve the story and diversity of the world though.
