A comparison of the situation. I bought a movie, now the ending has been released, i don't have money to see the ending, and now I can't rewatch the stuff I paid for if I don't purchase the ending. Also people who bought it on PS3 can't transfer it to ps4 which screwed up a lot of people.

No, you bought a season to a tv show. It comes with the added feature of HD for being the current season. Now that season is over and the new season is out. Your season was moved to the archive where you can still watch it as much as you want, but only in SD. Of course, if you buy the new season, you get all the new episodes and HD again.
-
Where is the archive in destiny? And I'm not talking about the Venus mission. Apples and oranges bro. even if you buy a season 2 you are going to still be able to watch your season 1 if you chose to, as of right now destiny has taken that away from people. I bought it, so it doesn't affect me but I know it's affecting a ton of people in the community

No. The game is their archive. They have access to every mission, strike, and raid, as well as vanilla crucible. They don't get access to endgame content like the new high level strike playlists and nightfall, and that's what they're bitching about.
-
Wouldn't you? Nightfall and crucible are part of the game, and it's been taken out of their hands now. You get this slim down version of the game they purchases
-
They have no business being in a level 42 nightfall, running in TTK strike maps, as a level 34 year 1 player.
-
No but they paid for it. You see how your point is stupid. If I pay you for goods and services you can't take my goods and services away.
-
No you don't get it. Just like EVERY mmo or multiplayer rpg, there is endgame content. Now the endgame takes place at level 40. They can't go past level 34. Its simple. Like buying a car that drives fine, but now the cool race track you used to love going to has a minimum speed limit of 40. You can call my point stupid all you want, but this isn't a new concept. WoW, Diablo and tons of other games have endgame content with minimum level requirements that change as new content gets added.
-
Yes just like every mmo you have more content... I don't think you get it, even the biggest mmo don't force you to buy items.
-
You don't have to buy it. Just play vanilla.
-
You can't even do that now... You can't play vanilla crucible, you can't play vanilla nightfall, you can't play vanilla weekly. Don't you see lol??? It's ok man, you have your mind made up, I'm not going to try and change your mind. Just want you to know the points you are making don't make sense because there is always something to contradict it. But it's ok, bungie will get theirs some day.
-
My point is destiny doesn't have the content as those games, also they have said its not an mmo. I've been playing ffxi for 13 years, and it's never made you buy anything in order to keep playing. I think you need to revisit your point because you are obviously confused.
