Destiny is a subscription, says so right in the EULA you didnt read.
You paid for a liscence to access it. You own nothing. If you don't continue to pay, you cannot access the game, even parts that you previously had access to before.

You can fall on the EULA makes everything ok argument all you want. Destiny was sold as a purchase not a subscription. Before you claim it's a license, not a purchase - all software including music and movies are licenses. Do you really want to argue that if you purchase an download version of music or a movie that the content provider can change that content at will? The fact that it's a license, not a good relates to what I can do with it regarding copying and distribution, not what can be done to the content after purchase.
