So I've paid for Netflix for an entire year! I've invested so much time into Orange is the New Black and House of Cards, I even grinded every episode of Friends last month! Now, I log in today and all of it is gone! I can't even watch movies that I have been able to watch for a full year!
I don't get it. I've been a loyal customer for a year, and just because I stopped paying, I get locked out of content. Well I wont be giving them my business anymore, scammers.
Do you get it now?
EDIT 1: I seem to be getting a lot of similar replies, usually directed at claiming Destiny is not a "subscription" service and that we the players "own" the game. I'm sorry boys and girls, we do not own anything. We paid for a liscence to access Destiny's content; content which is subject to change or even be removed for those who don't update their liscence. This was all outlined in the EULA you blindly accepted a year ago.
EDIT 2: "LIMITED USE LICENSE: Bungie grants you the non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable, limited right and license to install and use one copy of this Program solely for your non-commercial use. All rights not specifically granted are reserved by Bungie. The Program is licensed, not sold, for your use. Your license confers no title or ownership in this Program, and should not be construed as a sale of any rights in this Program."
EDIT 3: Jesus this is still going, this is fantastic. It looks like the verdict is roughly about 50/50 on people agreeing with me, or calling me some derivative of the word retard. To each their own I guess. I'd hope you guys get this worked up when Norton Antivirus tries to charge you for updates, and then removes features when you don't pay. Because, you know, you bought a disk, so you're clearly entitled.

That is a horrible analogy, seeing as Destiny is not subscription based...
-
Did you just take another post and replace destiny with Netflix?
-
Edited by Baron Von Bubba: 9/17/2015 7:25:21 PMNow if you said you'd bought dvds but can no longer watch them you'd be nearer the mark....
do you get it now?
Watching you autists try to make comparisons like this just disgusts me, my God have you ever taken simple math courses?
-
Whats with dumb sheep making terrible analogies?
-
Welcome to the Netflix Forum
-
Destiny is not a subscription game. Your analog doesn't make sense
-
Poor analogy. A better one would be that you bought a blue ray, say "Antman", that you love. Well, Antman 2 comes out, you hear it's awful so decide against buying it. A few days later you decide you want to watch your Antman blue ray again but when you put it in and press play, a prompt comes up that says "you need to have Antman 2 purchased to watch this disc". That'd be shitty right? Well, that's what happened to players that didn't buy the taken king. But instead of hearing them out, you make a disingenuous and passive aggressive post because they don't like a game you like. Cliffs: you're dumb and no one likes you.

Edited by LDSG BossMan: 9/17/2015 6:38:59 PM1. Destiny is NOT a monthly payment, you pay for content then its done. You keep it. 2. Netflix IS a monthly payment, stop paying=stop watching
Do you get it now?
What does any of that have to do with bungie and destiny?

What does any of that have to do with bungie and destiny?

You know what I would defend Destiny if it -blam!-ing worked when I wanted it to. There are so many times where bulshit stops me from playing, -blam!-ing catapillar, weasle, etc. Even now I keep randomly getting signed out. If Netflix did this God damn bullshit I wouldn't pay for it, but because this is a one and done type deal, now I am stuck trying to sign in and play my -blam!-ing Game. Now shut up and stop defending a company that makes millions off your wallet kid.
-
Ahaha
-
Post like this confirm my suspicions that the world is doomed.
-
You should file a class action suit, I can't believe they are oppressing you like that.
-
Thank you my friend
-
Should have used Hulu and Hulu Plu,s might have been a better comparison.
-
Destiny isn't subscription based.
-
After reading through the responses hardly anyone GETS IT...
-
This is not a valid comparison at all.
-
slow clap
-
Lol! You're an idiot. It's subscription based. Nothing like it. I agree people should get over it, it's a new game, you don't buy if you can't play it. But your analogy is terrible.
-
Well that's a terrible analogy. Netflix is advertised as a subscription based service. It's not buried in the small print that you have to keep paying to keep using all of their services. For the record I have TTK and I think this business strategy is bad for the game in the long term. They should just move to a monthly subscription fee if that's all the retail price amounts to anyway.
-
If Destiny was using a subscription-based model, you'd have a point. But it isn't, and you don't.
-
Edited by FusionomaD: 9/17/2015 7:13:13 PMI own TTK ....But YOU ARE FLAT OUT DUMB. Perfect grammar up here guy's with this kind of logic attached just remember that next time you correct someone for "your"this is what you get.

Damn man you better sue for that sh-t
