Is anyone else not able to play TTK on Xbox360 with a gamertag other than the one TTK was purchased and downloaded with? If I use any other gamertag, it prompts me to purchase TTK. Is this by design or is this a problem on my 360? Actually, if you are able to play TTK on 360 with other gamertags, please reply and let me know.

Got my TTK refunded by Microsoft with no questions asked. I have submitted a refund request to your financial institution for the purchase price of the item. Your financial institution will receive the request from Microsoft within the next 72 hours, but the time it takes to reflect on your credit card statement will depend on your financial institution. You can check the refund on billing.microsoft.com and I have this concern documented with case number: ********** for reference purposes.

Hey Silly, This is what I know - 1) Bungie DLC is non-transferable between Microsoft accounts - if you bought 1 licence then you can only apply it to one Microsoft account. 2) 1 purchased TTK Licence for 360 will not work on XBOX 1 - even if it is on the same account. 3) Destiny Year 1 + expansion DLC I & II are upgradable to Xbox 1 provided they are on the same Microsoft account.....but you can't go back once you go there - so don't forget to say goodbye to your 360 mates when you make the change to better graphics and more exclusive gear. If I am wrong Bungie can correct me.......and while they are at it.......they can address my other posts. For everyones benefit.

Found out that the Gamesharing rules & regulations are different on XBOX360. Bungie is not legally bound to game share across multiple acounts, so they haven't... They have just decided to say nothing! Even though the Microsoft Usage Restrictions on 360 states "The item you are trying to download is subject to usage restrictions. You can use this item on the first xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console." The only thing you can do is ask for a refund from Microsoft

i ve got the same issue!!!!!!! it s amazing i ve bought it twice once for my son and then for me to play with two profiles!!!!! don't know if is normal

I just got 2 XBOX360 updates and neither one of them fixed this. And regardless of what Bungie thinks they meant, if you look at the actual "Limits of Use" that are included when you purchase the Taken King DLC (I just checked and the "Limits of Use" in the Taken King purchase screen still says this now), it clearly states "Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console." If Bungie wanted there to be different limits of use, then they should have written something else. Someone messed up somewhere and I am very disappointed that Bungie is not standing up to the terms we purchased this product under, since that is what it says.
-
Sorry, I just realized that the updates I got were XBOX updates, not the Destiny patch, so I will still hold out hope that when I get Bungie's patch later it will fix this.
-
Apparently a xbox360 patch has just gone live now. There is no info on what the patch does (bad for PR) so lets hope its for this!
-
I'll give you a hint: didn't fix it.

Been checking here and on twitter every day. They still haven't said anything about. If they did it's, "Bungie does not follow any kind of 'Gameshare' policy." Which means we'd all have to purchase it for every account. Which doesn't make any sense cause that's no counted with the actual game itself, and the prior DLCs. But now, you're shelling out $40 at the minimum for every account. And quite frankly, I've already put enough money into my own account. And if this practice keeps up, I'll definitely be leaving.

It's not your Xbox. We are hoping it can and will be fixed. In the meantime, leave the account you bought it with signed in on the Xbox and sign into the account you want to play it with into another controller and then you can play
-
Once TTK content is unlocked for the playing account the purchasing account can sign out and sign into another xbox for co-op. Seems to work.
-
This worked! Thanks buddy!
-
That works. I just verified it. Kind of ridiculous to have to jump through hoops like this, but at least I can play co-op now. Thanks!
-
I have yet to see this work but I'll try it again tonight thanks
-
All good unless you have 2 consoles and need the primary account to be signed into the 2nd console for co-op play. Was hoping the latest 360 patch would sort this out, but apparently it hasn't......

Right I'm in the same boat

@VooDoo678 Thanks for the tip. At least now I can work on leveling up the guardian on the second gamertag. @superg360 Exactly. I got the second 360 specifically to play Destiny co-op...
