Ok still having problems with TTK digital dlc add on content . I pre-order TTK dlc on the PSN store back on 6/18/15 on the PS3.
I have upgraded to the PS4 on 8/01/15 . The TDB dlc and HOW dlc transfer over to the PS4 but not the TTK dlc .
This is not a PS3 disc game it is a digital dlc add on content .
So why didn't it transfer over . I already paid $40.00 for the digital add on content I have the receipt.
Sony is telling me it should have transfer over because it is a digital dlc add on content and not a PS3 standalone disc game. Then they told me to reinstall the game and to rebuild the database which I have done 12 hr. download time .
Still no TTK dlc . I can see it in my service list but not in my add ons for Destiny .. I can see the Destiny Expansion Pass , Destiny Expansion 1: THE DARK BELOW , and Destiny Expansion 2: THE HOUSE OF WOLVES..
So is this the new scam to turn a $40.00 digital dlc add on content in to a $80.00 digital dlc add on content?? That is how much the whole game cost $79.99 Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition is..
This goes against Sony's up grade transfer you know the whole sales pitch they used for the PS4. You can up grade but not down grade..
So why is TTk not transferring over to the PS4. It's not a whole new game , it's a add on a dlc..
If my brother up graded to a PS4 now will he have to buy TTK again? Obviously he won't have to buy the TDB dlc or HOW dlc again because they transfer over to the PS4 just fine.
So why is TTK's digital dlc add on content not transferring over from the PS3 to the PS4? It's not a whole new standalone game. It's a DLC a ADD-ON to the standalone game.
My next step is to see if I can file a lawsuit on BUNGIE and ACTIVISION to get my $40.00 back plus some to pay for the lawyer.
Enough of this flat out scamming gamers for a little more money...
This will make ppl not want to up grade to next gen console . $400.00 + $60.00 + $40.00 + P+ = $5??.00 .. just to get what you had on the old one..

When I saw this fantastic PS4 bundle with the game, I decided to pre-order it . Good thing : PS4 destiny edition and TTK, right ? TTK ran fine on PS4 but unfortunatly as lot of people noticed, I was unable to use DLC TTK on PS3 :-( Impossible for me to play again with my clan, except rebuying TTK en second time ! What a shame !

Yeah mate I'm in the same boat. My wife preordered it for me 29th July Collectors edition for PS3 " and guess what " I play on ps4. I realized she made the mistake that same night and tried to contact PSN and went to the support section and sent an email with my problem. Following day after work checked email no reply Tried calling " phone lines are busy please hold up to ten minutes." I hang up. Send another email. Again no reply? Check my account on ps4 it shows up that my purchase went through but does not state that it's either a 3 or 4 copy. So I ASSumed they may of corrected it. Come game day " AEST " 1630pm finish work and I realize no TTK yet. No one on my friends is playing! I get told TTK starts 1900pm roll over. I call PSN last minute and yep this time I waited 15 mins before someone picked up who then was an operator from the UK ? She was rude and confirmed I purchased the PS3 copy and said it was to late to change my order to a PS4 version because game was released. I said maybe in UK, but it still hasn't kicked over in Australia. No empathy what's so ever. The rest of her answers to my questions were from a text book and you will be notified in 5-10 DAYS. Whaaaaaaat " , BUT it takes 5-10 seconds for PSN to deduct $119 from my credit card. So I didn't want to lose my bonus content either and being an impatient fook I turned my dusty PS3 on to accept my bonus content thinking I could also transfer my BONUS gear BONUS XP SUROS pack EXOTIC cape on to my ps4 account how I was wrong. Put my CAPE on and new SHADER on in PS3 version switched over to my ps4 copy and I was not allowed to access it. It said I had to purchase the PS4 TTK game again. So being the impatient FOOK I am I paid another $69 for the standard version. GUESS WHAT ? I still can not get EQUIP that exotic cape because I need to buy the PS4 TTK COLLECTORS edition. Muda#>!>*##?#€>#<#%<#%> burn burn burn Destiny is the only game I've purchased since its first release. BUNGIE we are not asking for a refund just our BONUS GEAR We all earned it LITERALLY! I myself purchased Destiny and the expansion pass for the 360 knowing it would transfer over to Xbox one when I finally get one. Now they come out with THE TAKEN KING and its not transferable. The only reason I can see them pulling this bad decision is because Destiny The Taken King or Destiny year 2 is actually replacing Destiny itself. If you think about it, Even if you don't own any dlcs at all, just Destiny and you do all the updates the Title screen changes from plain Destiny to Destiny: The Taken King. Bungie don't look at The Taken King as just a DLC for Destiny, in fact they call it a prequel to Destiny there for making it a stand alone game, which is why when you buy just the standard disc game it comes with year one and the two DLC packs for only $60.00. So now anyone that is just starting to play Destiny by getting Destiny The Taken King is paying a heck of a lot less for everything then we did!! Do the math. I got Digital downloads, Destiny $59.99 + Expansion pass $39.99 + The Taken King $39.99 = 139.97 + tax Now you can get Destiny the Taken King Legendary Edition for $59.99 saving new comers to the game $80.00! Ok, back to why I believe Bungie/Activision is doing it this way. Remember the loot caves that everyone would sit at for hours at a time and all the patches Bungie did to change how engrams dropped and got awarded in strikes and such. Well, BUNGIE has always said, "this isn't the way we intended the game to be played". So they tweaked things here, changed guns here back and forth during Year one but they were still disappointed as how the game got flooded with great gear from the loot caves and they found away to change that! YEAR 2, scrap all year one stats and rework the light level making ALL GEAR AND GUNS USELESS! Again, don't need The Taken King to see this, remember that 10gb download they forced everyone to get? Called it Destiny 2.0 or Destiny Year 2. SO now we have to start all over with what we worked so hard to get in the game, everything we collected now trashed and to top it all off they kick us in the ass and say if we want Destiny the Taken King for both systems we have to pay for it twice! To make things worse, I'm still waiting for them to fix my issue with TTK so I can play. But truth be told the game has changed so much from the way it was when I purchased it that it is NO LONGER the game I originally paid for and I'm about to demand a refund on the whole game itself and say screw Destiny! I know my rights as a consumer and the way BUNGIE changed the entire game by forcing that 10g download entitles everyone to a refund of the game as it's now NOT the game we originally purchased.

Traded in PS3 copy and got the PS4 copy for $20.00 and my Premium transfer over to the PS4 and all maps and content too. That would be 5 digital expansion packs, exclusive camos, paints, emblems, dog tags and more. Priority position in server queues. New content every week. 12 bonus Battlefield 4 Battlepacks. Bungie got a long way to go to get me back on board there fan wagon..

Not a PlayStation user and this may not apply to you since Bungie has a contract with Sony and not Microsoft anymore but The Taken King DLC is [u]not[/u] transferable from the 360 to the One unlike the previous DLC's which could be transferred over. my guestimate is this is them wrapping up loose ends on the older consoles and making you think about upgrading.

This will make ppl not want to up grade. It's bad enough you got to buy the game again when you up grade the hell if you got to buy all the dlc again. Your talking almost $300.00 all around on one game thats nuts.. Why do this ppl are still up grading from PS3 to PS4 , hell I was using my PS3 destiny disc on my PS4 when I first got the PS4 $9.99 to up grade PS3 disc to a PS4 disc . Then I gave the PS3 disc to my brother and got the PS4 copy.
