Where is your apology?
I'm only going to touch on, in this post, the first thing that made me irate about TTK. I paid up early for the expansion thinking I was going to get some great gear very early in the content. Do you know what I actually got Bungie? You do, don't you? I got weapons that I looked at several times before I realized they were the weapons you had advertised. I got a shader. I got an emblem. I got screwed.
My existing obsolete weapons were more powerful than the "early access" weapons you had advertised. Why are you deceiving your fan base? Loyal customers bought this preorder to gain access to some great items, and you provided trash. Actually, they're not even trash. I never picked them up because they're worthless, so maybe the vanguard quartermaster can use them as paperweights or something.
Oh, and... You have to buy them!? They aren't even worth 10 glimmer, let alone 1500! I would literally dismantle them immediately if I was dumb enough to buy them. What a disappointment. You are losing your guardians, one by one. Make it right.

5 RepliesAre you guys insane? Preordering is bad! It will make game companies focusing more on marketing than game itself. We do not want game companies to walk down that way any further! Bungie owes a lot of apologies, this one is not one of them.

9 RepliesI don't recall anywhere in the advertising that they said the Suros weapons would be legendary and surpass anything and give everyone a jump start on their light rank.

7 RepliesUm, you didn't get them stop listening to the trolls. Suros pack isn't loading up for anyone. Try reading the updates. Did you go digital after being on disk?

2 RepliesI totally agree with you. However I think you should take from this a lesson learned in the reason we as game consumers should not support the practice of preordering bonuses. They delivered what you paid extra for, in advance, without knowing what it was you were buying. That's the problem with preordering, it's so easily abused and leaves them no incentive to deliver anything of worth or quality --item or game itself-- because they have your money before the product is even completed.

6 RepliesI hadn't preordered prior to this release, so I wasn't aware that this was typical for Bungie. That doesn't make it better though. That makes it worse. BTW, are ascendant materials and radiant materials trash now? I don't see any way to bring that gear up to par with the new. I was hoping for some sort of exchange system, where we would get something for them. I haven't destroyed any yet to test that method.

1 ReplyAnyone with experience with yer one vanguard pack knew this would happen. Many of us went to the forums for weeks when the suros pack was announced asking if they were legendary. No response. The logical figured same as the vanguard and were pretty happy with that as locking almost an entire legendary foundry would have been ridiculous. Those aboard the hype train refused to listen saying they had to be legendaries. I'm very against them ever being legendary but I also think it was shady they purposely didn't specify to mislead for preorder sales

Lol and you didn't learn from last year's "vanguard armory" thing? Dang, no wonder... If you didn't notice, there is a lot directed towards newer guardians now. It's technically a new game (not for us year 1's though). Point being: this is not just another add on for some, it's a full new game. I have seen quite a few below 200 grimoire actually (I like being that guy who sits atop the flags in the tower watching everyone come and go). TTK is a new chapter, otherwise it would be: "Destiny: veteran's dlc. Only accessible if you have logged over 500 hours on vanilla Destiny." Stupid, right?

Yeh I bought my copy post launch and received access to that same stuff. This is not a new practice. Not sure why people are suprised....
