My point is, the ideas I have about nerfing it aren't huge changes.
1. Slow down the rate at which you throw the hammers.
2. Scale down the blast radius of exploding hammers.
3. Scale down hammer damage in general. Only direct hits need to be a guaranteed kills.
4. Weaken the added armor of Super-activated Sunbreakers.
I suggest only ONE of these things be done, as any one of them will balance the others. Sunbreakers will still be on top in offensive usefulness but they won't be nearly invulnerable killing-machines like they are now. Unless the Sunbreaker is a shitty player and easy to kill in general, they only need to see you and button-mash while aiming near you and you're dead. With at least an 85% chance of causing an unstoppable massacre.
And even though in PvE, it's all fine and dandy. This balancing that I suggest would hardly impact a player who values skill and strategy over mindless run-and-gun, button-mashing tactics in PvE. Only people who HAVE to rely on these powers will have a real problem with it. Like people who rely on Thorn for easy kills in PvP. I'm not one of them, so I have no problem with it being nerfed, but I've spoke with plenty of guardians who will vehemently disagree and even resort to foul, ignorance-based assumptions and insults to attack you just for having such an opinion because they are the ones who RELY on it instead of honing their own skills to get ahead like it's supposed to be. People will never become better players if they are constantly using a crutch to help them overcome their obstacles.
