Not trying to offend anyone. But... how many people over 220 work at least 50 hours a week and have a family? Curious is all.

I work 50 and help my parents do their deal. I hit the gym and the ladies. I hit over 220 without even touching the story bc I was prepared. Tons of motes from this year = faction donations which yielded about 9 legendary pieces in about 30 minutes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
That was a good plan! I always gambled mine away with xurs engrams, never stock piled em. Oh well.
-
Edited by bopeep1876: 9/17/2015 3:06:21 PMI also had 20 faction packages saved up along with some public events packages. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Holy crap. Youd been planning for awhile. Did you get the faction quest yet?
-
Most of mine were Crucible and Vanguard, in a Beta player that basically only plays this consistently outside of work and personal life. I never would open them and I'm a big saver. I only would open when. I ran out of space at the post master so I didn't lose out on them. I'm 21 DO bc I started that four months ago and focused only on that really rewards wise. I'm 54 on Vanguard so I took a lot of pride in being a Vanguard supporter but I also moonlight Dead Orbit now on the side
-
I like DO gear the best. But im only rank 9. Got a long way to go for the quest.
-
You'll get there ... Bounties are easy and keep play time down for leveling
-
Edited by Force58: 9/17/2015 2:48:23 PMMotes are still only used to reforge IB gear right? Assume you can also use them to increase rep for factions like I did my old materials...
-
Edited by BiL1yBoBJoe: 9/17/2015 2:45:35 PMYou can now use them to level up gear
-
Nice, thanks!
-
I just used my legendary marks to buy the vanguard ghost. Bumped me up to 250
-
Thanks for the idea. These new ghosts are really cool.

Edited by LatinLegacy: 9/17/2015 10:49:45 AMIt's not hard really. Just grinding out the story & sub quest will put you on a good enough path to get you to at least 260 within a day. That is just on the engram drops & reward loot obtained from the quest. Going beyond that does take a bit of time commitment to the game depending on how quickly you want to get things done. On top of that, most people won't be honest about there current work/school situation just to rid themselves of any potential trolling directed there way.
-
Work full time. Just started back to school for a second degree. Don't have kids though. But some members of my clan do and we're all above 250. Kind of a shitty and presumptuous question to be honest.
-
Im not being presumptuous, just curious. If its such a shitty question then why answer?
-
Nope. Managed 20 mins so far. 12 hour shifts and a toddler at home. I'll get there eventually!
-
Enjoy the journey! So far I like TTK alot.
-
I will, thanks buddy!
-
40 hours a week at work, at least 10 at the gym, 286 light
-
Got a family and work 40hours a week and im 280+. Just play efficiently, having mad fun.
-
It really is crazy fun.
-
Only people who have 80+ hours can't level quickly
-
Work 39 hours and got an 8 year old son, got 1 to 272, 254, and 231
-
The grind is real.
-
I've been to work and still got one character to light 280+ You just need to know where to go and do it. Not hard really
