Obviously before the patch I was low on materials on my Hunter/Titan since my Warlock was my main for a long time. So on release I converted everything I had to the new "material" and logged in today to see that I had 82 instead of the 3k+ that i converted. They may have been gone earlier then that but I wasn't paying attention obviously. Account theft wouldn't make sense, why would they only delete the armor materials? and 3k+ of them? Unless I missed something HUGE in the story line or something there's no explanation for what has happened.

I know it's a silly question, but did you check all you characters inventory and your vault and post master ?
-
Maybe the stack limit is 999 and you broke something by exiting the game with a 3k+ stack? Maybe you accidentally discarded a stack when you weren't paying attention? It's highly unlikely that you left 3k+ materials on a character, logged out, logged back in, and had 82. But honestly it doesn't really matter anyway - 82 is plenty. I have 300 armor materials per character and there's no way I'll ever get through them all, especially without getting more armor materials from the green engrams dropped by every other enemy and inside every fifth chest or so.

Nobody's going to give you anything. Tough shit honestly. You know Bungie doesn't give lost items back. So I'm not sure what the point of posting this was.

My question is: how is the picture you provided proof? It's just a snapshot of your inventory with very few armor materials. This could have easily been a result of you not having much of the previous armies mats to convert in the first place.

Bumping for awareness, anything helps
