Now that everyone has had a day to hopefully log in and experience TTK (or life without), what would you like to see addressed in the 9/17/15 Weekly Update.
Posting this a day earlier than usual this week to try give DeeJ ample time to see your questions and hopefully respond to some.
Edit: For all the shade I've thrown at DeeJ, I'd like to take a moment to thank him for taking time to address individual Guardians in this thread.
Even if we don't get the exact answers we're looking for, that's the approach that lets people know that they're not talking into a void so to speak.
Thank you DeeJ.

Update: Destiny Player Support is now working on a deeper dive into the path that leads to Legendary Marks, as many of your questions have been about that.
-
And like all of the Updates before, the 09-17-2015 Update was more self-fellatio and answered absolutely nothing about the game. They answered nothing from people who love TTK. They answered nothing from people who hate TTK. They did mention at least six times about how great they're doing, and how great they are at listening to their fans (on Reddit though, Gods forbid they listen to the fans on their own website...). Bungie is a huge flaccid joke.
-
Doesn't matter. We all know what they are going to say.
-
What are they going to do to stem the rising tide that could cost them a lot of money? While there are some demanding refunds, there are people that have become so irritated by their practices/policies that they have fanned the flames of (what I would call) anger. Now I know that they are already talking about these things, but I do not think that they really realize how extremely irritated people have become. Yet, even though they say they are watching and reading, I wonder if they really understand the level of this movement that seems to be building. They do not really respond appropriately to legitimate questions, nor do they really show any real concern for those that they say they appreciate. The only thing that they have shown, is that they appreciate our money and, it seems more like, they laugh at the people that have purchased and played - helping them beta test their game the first year, after getting their money; and now say to them, too bad, so sad, but we don't care.
-
So does anyone know if we are getting PS year 1 exclusive strikes and multiplayer maps on Xbox one?! I got Hawkmoon day 1 of TTK.
-
Before you throw your money at the screen for the taken wallet. Think about what Bungie has done for a minute.
-
I know I'm late, so I'll just say what I wish they answered. I want to know if this increased story depth (not a lot, but it's definitely deeper than before) and overall quality is the new normal, or just a blip on the radar. Has TTK raised the bar, or will the next DLC be a TDB or HoW part 2? Also, I'd like to hear (or be surprised with) plans for fan service to reward loyalty. Throw an emblem, shader, ghost, or ship our way every month or so. I think it's easily doable, and would help improve community relations with the overall rebranding effort of year 2.

Lost Sols, This is my final bump and last post on this forum. I have enjoyed reading your post over the last six months and I have agreed with most of what you have said **cough**thorn nerf**cough** but I cannot support anything else that is Bungie related to include this forum. Destiny is a fun game but they treat their players like tools of profit and this is not acceptable because it shows me that they themselves are no longer gamers. I hope you will continue to be the true voice of this community and try to open Bungie's eyes by providing constructive criticism along with answers/solutions to make the game better. So will I still log onto Destiny and kill ppl with the thorn? Maybe. But I will never do another nightfall, weekly strike or grind for another exotic item. Once again thanks for being you and keep it up.

Being a year one player kinda has me on the fence about ttk and it's content size, but my questions would be this. ☆Will old legendary gear be viable in the future? Like destiny dlc 4,5 or 6? ☆How many legendary marks can one person actually get in a week!? ☆How do you address the lock out on some of the content? ☆What's the best way to group up for these harder patrols/raids? ☆Can we actually have a truthful dialogue about the direction of destiny? No lies just blunt honesty.

"This week at Bungie, we're ignoring all of your concerns again. Everything is great! $40.00 or -blam!- off outta here." - Bungie
-
Can I still post questions? :) 1) Why were shotguns nerfed to +10% of the dmg values, before the first PvE buff occurred, compared to +100% before 2.0 hit the shelves? 2) Why did you punish PvP players, through limiting the amount of marks they can earn through playing normal playlists (+2/3 crucible marks before 2.0, now 0)? 3) Was it really necessary to reset the stats on armor? As a PvP player, I grinded for hours to get marks, engrams and random drops, which will give me the desired stats and perks. Since the consensus has been, that the Crucible will still be a place for Y1 gear (at least it holds true for my weapons), why would you nerf the stats of the gear? (I understand resetting the defense values, but why the stats?)

I had a total of 400 marks per character and was given 4 commendation things instead !! Why ?
-
Where did my legendary marks go - had 75 - today reports 0 anyone else have this problem

It just really makes me sad to see a game that could have been the absolute best be handled so poorly, and that it decided to alienate so many of us. Please DeeJ, couldn't you answer someone, just one person about how jaded we feel? How used cheated? For the sake of this company's honor and my loyalty up to this point for you guys, can't you give us anything? Talk to us! Explain! Just an "I'm sorry" would be of dramatic benefit to the integrity of your company.

● Why are heroic vanguard strikes and daily heroic missions level 41? ● Why did you offer a preorder bonus (on the $40 digital taken king that could only be purchased by existing customers) that was worthless? ● Why didn't you inform players months ago that in order to level past 34 they would HAVE to purchase TTK?
-
I would like to know why the -blam!- all the year 2 players paid half of the year one and got the emotes and shaders and we're stuck paying an extra $20 on top of the double we paid. I would also like to know what the he'll were you thinking not bringing in all the newer exotics from the last DLC like the ram helm and others. What was the point of even releasing them if they weren't even going to be upgraded to year 2 off the bat. Wtf am I gonna waste a months worth of work for legendary marks for on God damn upgrade?? -blam!- you bungie. If these are not fixed or we're no reimbursed with the $20 suros pack by this update I will be calling a lawyer and going to see what I can do. You're already being sued. Would you like more of us doing the same thing? Best part is I have 2 lawyers in the family that would love a nice chunk of change from you as well as myself

Love how deej links us to the page that basically says "All your bases belong to us!"

I'm in this weird place where I have no other games for my Xbox One. I just haven't needed any. My daughter has a Disney game, but that doesn't count. I really want to want TTK, but these changes are very bothersome to me. Sometimes I get weak and say I'm going to get it next week after more reviews come out and then I bristle at how these changes have affected players and I snap out of it. So, here's what I say. Reimplement the status quo. Allow players to get one level below the level cap just like Vanilla and just like TDB without end game content. Allow players access to vendor gear. Non-DLC players don't need access to end game content or gear or new missions, that's what the $40 is for and I'm not a greedy man. I've given up on keeping Year 1 content relevant. But I think the status quo needs to be brought back into the mix. Giving Non-DLC players this access stands a good chance of encouraging us to purchase TTK if it really is that good, by giving us a taste of what we are missing. Seriously, removing Non-DLC players from the gamer pool is just a dick move and gives the impression that we are being strong-armed. Personally, this doesn't make me want to buy the content, it actually drives me away.

Edited by A KOOL POP TART: 9/16/2015 9:09:32 PMWhat the f*ck is with the lockout? If I was able to level past 32 without HoW, why can't I do the same thing now? Why can't I earn marks in Crucible or from Strikes? It's currency, shouldn't that be available to everyone?
-
Hey lost Sol ! I've started ESO a couple of month back and only launched the game in 2.0 tonight. I didn't want to get TTK yet for ... reasons, and I can tell you I am quite happy I did not. When TDB launched a lot of people argued that they lost access to a portion of the vanilla game, which was true. Same for HoW. But with TTK Activibungie took it to an all new fantastic level of screw you fanbase. You cannot play the campaign, except on easy mode. The 18/20/24 strikes are gone. As of everytime, your former hard earned gear is useless. Back to the grind. Oh, btw, we took away your marks and replaced them by... nothing. So the question I'd like anybody at Bungie to answer is the later: In the 10 years plan of existence of the licence, do you plan on milking the same cows or do you rather count on an heavy turnover of sheeps to shear ?
-
Hey Lost Sols. I echo the concerns of others on here over the scarcity of Legendary Marks. The fact that Bungie would choose to intensify the grind suggests a real lack of meaningful content in TTK.
-
How can Bungie be so shameless and shyster?
-
Ideally? What non-dlc players have to look forward to.
-
Honestly, the old system for selecting crucible and strike playlists was fine. The new "classic" or legacy stuff is basically them wadding year 1 up and tossing it all into a ttk labeled trash can and saying "-blam!- you, pay me." Some don't even want dlc, and not just in this game. Some people are perfectly happy with what they have. Give people their -blam!-ing game back.
-
My only gripe is how Y1 non TTK players like myself are being treated. Do I expect to get TTK things for free? No, not at all, but like TDB and HoW, I expect to still play the game I spent a decent amount of money on. Crucible has been watered down for Y1 players. Strikes have been watered down for Y1 players. We have no way to earn Legendary Marks to buy things. Our game is in a worse state than when it was before TTK... Unless we buy into that. -blam!- that. I wasn't told that Destiny was going to be subscription based. Maybe I'm just being an entitled little 23 year old brat, but I honestly feel like I should have more after I've dumped $100 on this game. Bungievision sees it's fan base as nothing but cash cows. And at this point, even with all the wrong they've done, it may just be true. The unintelligent are the only ones buying into this crap. I will not be buying TTK. I will not support Bungievision. This is the last straw. I've already uninstalled my game. I will stop at nothing to speak my mind and let people know that there are better games out there. That there are better developers. That there are better communities.

Edited by The Marauder : 9/16/2015 9:23:22 PMWhy have you locked out faction gear to those who don't have TTK? Why are those who don't have TTK only allowed to do level 20 strikes? Why aren't those without TTK rewarded for doing strikes? Why are you such a bunch of greedy assholes?
