Can someone offer advice on how to get better gear? Struggling.
Also, how do I infuse Blue gear? There isn't an option.....only on my legendaries. Yes I feel nooby asking, but I took a break for a few weeks and can't find information. Cheers in advance x

I suggest you get enough light by doing quests and then running Heroic strikes and doing court of oryx And only legendary gear can be infused, but high level blues can be consumed by legendary gear

Roger that, sound advice thanks. Feel stupid asking about the blue infusion, but I've read of people using blue to infuse legendary, was confused about the whole thing at first. Cheers!

They're right, blue can be used to infuse legendary gear as long as it's more powerful than said legendary gear

Edited by NZFlex: 9/16/2015 1:00:31 PMBest way to get some gear is completing the quests. Once you get to about 250lightlevel you can start doing heroic strikes. They will drop some high end blue gear and some legendary engrams as well plus you will get legendary marks so you can buy new gear too. And you cant infuse blue weapons/armour. Only legendary and exotic pieces can be infused. However if your blue gear has a higher stat than your legendary. You can use it to infuse your legendary for a stat boost

Roger that, thanks man. I guess a mistake I made was running story with a fireteam, it's too easy to get sidetracked. Think I'll run solo for a night or two to get those quests finished. Oh right I see! That makes perfect sense to me now. Thanks man, appreciate the reply. Really hope I'm ready for the raid on Friday!

You do tend to get more rewards froms playing with a fireteam. And some of the quest actually reauire you be in a fireteam because they are quite tricky. But yeah it is easy to get sidetracked but its mlre fun playing with a fireteam full of friends. Especially when you start exploring the dreadnaught :)

I did notice those quests actually, I meant more along the lines of actually getting some of the easier ones done solo, my mates tend to get sidetracked with other things so I find I don't get much done in 2 hrs :) Had a little explore of the dreadnought when I was testing out my sword, really enjoying killing champions and finding the chests/terminals etc.

Oh right hahaha. Yeah you really gotta get stuck in to get a hold of all the new content. And YESS the new swords are amazing !do a ton of damage and are really handy in the court of oryx !

Edited by AlTrio: 9/16/2015 12:55:38 PMI guess the best way to get legendaries is by getting legendary marks, I got most of mine from levelling up factions. As for infusing, you can only infuse legendaries much like how you could only ascend legendaries.

I've spent so many marks infusing. I got my an answering chord at 200. It's at 270 now
