Personally I'm not sure if the queen is actually dead. I mean, in the opening cutscene, we see that the queen's powers can extend far beyond mere ruling. Maybe she found a way to escape using her literal space magic? I dunno...
-
She's alive. Her brother, dead. She's going to go down a dark path and blame the guardians. She was helping us & it got many killed. We may have to defend from the Awoken. *All a theory. But games have done things like this how many times now?*
-
I don't see how but I guess anything is possible
-
They were talking in the past tense, no? Pretty sure she's alive then.
-
As a general rule of thumb, if they don't show the character dying then the character isn't dead. Or at least they will come back. That ball of light that you see every now and then in the dreadnaught, the one that keeps running away but always leads you in the right direction. That is at the very least related to the queen in some way. Its definitely not a bad guy and the queen says she had someone or something hidden inside the dreadnaught.

Wow... Not a very good spoiler alert...
-
If you read the grimoire card 'the aftermath' (one of the new tyk ones) it suggests she may still be alive, or at least her brother believes she is alive
-
Let's learn a lesson about spoilers. You said do you think the queen is still alive. Obvious spoilers the queen dies. Then, AFTER YOU GIVE THE SPOILER, you say *spoiler alert* That's not how life works. Please please please Never put the spoiler in the topic Always put the alert before the actual spoiler.
-
I'm pretty sure she is alive, and in the final cutscene with Eris it seems like she is talking about the Queen. Especially when you consider the Queen's line in the beginning about one of her "Hidden" guiding the guardians.
-
There's no way. She's a big npc and it's only year 2.
-
Isn't the title a spoiler???
-
She teleported when her ship got destroyed... Her brother died
