Ok so after the updates I head to the tower, go Dead Orbit, collect his faction, head out, patrol moon (with unclaimed bountys to complete), selected a boon.. Completed.. [u]Two factions pop up[/u] on my screen?!!!
[b]I JUST WANT DEAD ORBIT FOR ----- sake!.. Not one.. BUT TWO!! TWO FACTIONS GAINED EXPERIENCE![/b] just want one!! Damn it..

This is all [b][u]PSN[/u][/b], for those questioning. I've only discovered this after the 2.0.1 patch witch i had on hold till last 83 hours ago. We all told one faction in the weekly updates.. And here i am, screaming for a hot fix!

I can't seem to make sense of this... What is wrong with the Vanguard/Crucible?

Year one tier mark, cloak, arm band is under one faction (titian as FWC, Warlock as Dead Orbit, Hunter Dead Orbit). To make things more clearer I don't have Taken King DLC yet due private personal reasons. After the updates I've been gain to faction reps for each patrol, strike, crucible event and it's confusing the hell out of me since I don't even know why both are popping up on screen?! First is FWC on my titian then pops with Vanguard Quoter master. If that made sense?

If the second was Vanguard it seems that you earn both at the same time. I need to test my theory further with combinations of faction marks and banners but so far it seems you earn extra faction rep on top of the normal vanguard rep you would receive.

yes, now you get both vang/cruci rep along the faction you chose
