You dont just get them you need to buy them from the quartermaster

With collectors and pre order you get them the suros and vanguard weapons I got all the shaders sparrow exotics and other stuff and emotes just not the weapons yet. And emblems

You dont get them, you have to buy them mate.. trust me ots been the same since vaanilla destiny

This is a bit different check out what you get with the collectors 80 dollar one I got it all cept the weapons so far I read about and issue that's being fixed. The weapons will be available soon and after a few steps are done. A ninja helped me if I could repost the link he sent it would help a lot of people asking the same question I am. Read the content for the collectors ed. Ull see what I mean.

It only gives you access to purchase the weapons from the vanguard quartermaster it doesn't put them in your inventory

Yeah just like the other stuff. If I was giving exotics then why not the weapons like it said with the exotics I got doesn't make sence
