exactly I took time off work to play this game and now it seems like my whole time off will be wasted because of this. what will be our compensation from bungie? I'm betting some sorry ass apology end of story.

So you taking time off is Bungie's fault? Don't think there's a Hot Fix for that.
-
who in the hell expects to buy a product that doesn't work? no one or they wouldn't buy it! so I planned for a day with a product that works! you mean you really can't comprehend that?
-
No I get it... I went through this at launch last year... I learned that now with AAA titles its probably not gonna be ready to go the second you pop the disc in or load the DLC.
-
well now I know not to expect quality service from bungie. I will never count on a working product again or at least not enough to take vacation time from work.
-
No. But it is their fault for releasing a sloppy update. It's not like they said, "Hey, when we launch there might be problems so please expect them." They advertised the game like it was ready to go and built up the hype for pre-orders, so of course it's their fault. We took time off because we thought we were going to be getting a working product upon release, but clearly we were wrong to believe in such a thing.

It's not a good idea to ever assume a new software or IP release is ever going to be 100% perfect.... Doing so will always lead to disappointment.
-
I never expect 100%. It's one thing to launch with some bugs and kinks to work out, but another thing to completely flop your launch with a laundry list of problems.
-
Yeah... but its nothing new with Destiny unfortunately.
-
That I do agree with it. I should have known, based on their Year 1 track record.

having slow load time is imperfect, missing items...imperfect, glitches.....imperfect, game not working at all is a complete failure!
