You need expansion 1&2 for TTK to work. If you are on the same console i dont see why you would have to buy 2 of everything. I could be wrong though. Try buyin expansion 1 and TTK and logging into both your accounts.
If you are on seporate consoles though you need to buy everything.

Wtf this is bullshit. And even worse is I put money into my account and now I have to buy both expansions because even though my brother bought it, it says I haven't (on the same console) so is bungie going to somehow let everyone buy TTK or am I just -blam!-ed and have to waste $80 on some thing that should've only been $40
