If you don't buy TTK, then you are NOT going above level 34. NF, Weeklies, maybe even Dailies are going to be Lvl 40 only. So.... guess what that means folks? NF has been in the game since release and even if you didn't buy the DLCs you could still gear up and play the mode. Now, the mode is RESTRICTED to players who buy DLC. The original game mode is now RESTRICTED to people paying EXTRA money ONLY. Not even a 'lockout' from having the dlc strike on the rotation (as happened with TDB and HoW)... but [b]flat out f'ing restricted because of a paywall[/b] that blocks you from having the basic requirements to play a game mode that was already built into the game and now has no in-game method around it. (fingers crossed) Maybe a 170 light level 34 can actually access the nightfall just at a major disadvantage.... But we have to wait until 9/15/15 to see if this will even be an option. Thx. EDIT 3: To those (mostly trolls) who keep asking... I still play Destiny a few hours a week because I like a good raid or Nightfall and some bounties when it strikes me. I don't really grind and haven't since I beat Skolas a couple times and got my Elder Ciphers. I have (gasp) even started to play PvP (and yes, I suck at it). There's still a reason to play this game... and that is IT CAN BE FUN. It's crap like this though that makes it harder and harder to just enjoy. BNG-Vision wants you online and constantly addicted. No thinking. Just paying. EDIT 4: TTK is released and it is not confirmed that all it was was a giant -blam!-ing paywall. Players got to level 40 in one hour. ALL vanguard and crucible and speaker gear is level 40. ALL modified strikes (daily, weekly, nightfall) are level 41 (!). There is literally NOTHING TO DO AT ALL without purchasing TTK. The game is a gutted, empty shell (well it always was...) all in the name of getting you to pay out an extremely inflated amount of money for an 'expansion' that is nothing but a giant middle finger to every player. Not just people waiting it out or not willing to get the expansion....EVERYONE. [b]VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET. DON'T BUY INTO THIS NONSENSE!!! This is completely unacceptable and unethical.[/b]
