Thanks dude. Sucks that it has to be that way though. So I might aswell save me $10 and buy the legendary edition for $60 instead of buying the stand alone edition for $70 ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "stand alone" edition. If you already own Destiny and the two expansions, The Taken King DLC is $40.
-
According to Bungie its $40usd, which is $56aus. But instead it's $70 in Australia. Are you in another region ?
-
Oh, yeah, I'm in the U.S. The Taken King by itself is $70 in Australia? What is the Legendary Edition listed as?
-
On the top of my head it's $100. A rip off in my opinion. I don't think it's a suitable price for players who already have the main game and the expansions
-
Damn, that sucks. I never understood regional price differences.
-
I just don't understand why such a high price. We're basically buying the game all over again
-
Yeah, it's a little steep. I went ahead and got the Legendary Edition even though I had Destiny and the expansion pass, because I wanted digital instead of physical. But after combining my physical Destiny trade-in, my Bing Rewards, and my local gas station rewards program, it was basically free for me :-D

Haha, nice work. Its basically a money pit. We need to buy the taken king to play crucible again unless we do classic crucible instead. Not to mention the level cap increase, all this should've been in the 2.0 update. We should've just bought the taken king for its story and the raid for a cheaper price. Activist on is worse than EA, giving us this outrageous price
