Jesus guys... These developers are getting hammered. Go outside, read a book, and let the Bungie team do their jobs. Their goal is to deliver the product, not screw you out of money.
Thank you Bungie! You are developing an entire world for us to escape to. That cannot be easy.

I'm just saying... Right now there are kids fleeing Syria for their lives. Some of them probably pre-ordered this game, but they have real issues to be concerned with. Like food, shelter... Our golden chest issues seems pretty trivial.
-
seriously! then by that sentiment you shouldn't complain about shit like ever because there will always be someone doing worse then you are. smh
-
See I knew someone on here would get it!
-
I agree with you dude yall have to have patient I'm one of those guys who doesn't get to play much but I'm also seeing what you guys are saying... But taking your day off of work to play a video game your still wasting your day when u could be earning money so technically both ways u sitting around waiting and angry and u playing video games all day, are in both cases you wasting your time.
-
They were paid to do their job, they let out a broken game, and made false promises. >:c I paid my hard earned cash and i get Issues that break the game completely for me? Why don't you go read a book >:c
-
Are you metaphorically telling me to go f@$! myself, or should I really go read a book. I'm not sure which one I want to do more.
-
They're getting hammered because the customer service sucks the response to such a piss poor launch across multiple platforms both digital and physical copies is ridiculous.
-
All it is is an Xbox store issue? Lol it can't be that difficult to fix
-
it's not just xbox it's playstation as well. and not just the digital version but the physical disk aren't working. it's a piss poor job
-
Easy you say money hungry i say they got billions from sales and expansion packs that just repeat the missions backwords lmao
-
If they working then we shouldn't be having problems. I paid$60 for my game when I can't even download the content from the game to launch it. I ordered my game yesterday at 7 pm California time which makes it preoreded. I didn't receive a preorder code or anything and I bought it fron the Xbox store. I already got in contact with Xbox support and followed all of their directions but my stuff still isn't working!! So I want to know why since I can't get a refund!! Can you fix my problems since you speaking on Bungie be half?
-
Like they said... They're working on it.

Edited by Bick Dieter: 9/15/2015 3:23:40 PMHahahahaha... Yes. I can help you. Put down your controller, open your front door, go for a walk. Depending on your time zone you could have dinner, maybe catch a movie. Get a good nights sleep. Check back tomorrow.

You know people took time off from work just to play this at launch, right? It's not like we're not thankful of what Bungie has made for us. It's a fantastic game, so kudos to them. But some of us are very limited with time to play, so that's why these problems are a HUGE inconvenience.
-
couldnt say it better ;-) tyvm ;-)
-
exactly I took time off work to play this game and now it seems like my whole time off will be wasted because of this. what will be our compensation from bungie? I'm betting some sorry ass apology end of story.
-
So you taking time off is Bungie's fault? Don't think there's a Hot Fix for that.
-
who in the hell expects to buy a product that doesn't work? no one or they wouldn't buy it! so I planned for a day with a product that works! you mean you really can't comprehend that?
-
No I get it... I went through this at launch last year... I learned that now with AAA titles its probably not gonna be ready to go the second you pop the disc in or load the DLC.
-
well now I know not to expect quality service from bungie. I will never count on a working product again or at least not enough to take vacation time from work.
-
No. But it is their fault for releasing a sloppy update. It's not like they said, "Hey, when we launch there might be problems so please expect them." They advertised the game like it was ready to go and built up the hype for pre-orders, so of course it's their fault. We took time off because we thought we were going to be getting a working product upon release, but clearly we were wrong to believe in such a thing.
-
It's not a good idea to ever assume a new software or IP release is ever going to be 100% perfect.... Doing so will always lead to disappointment.
-
I never expect 100%. It's one thing to launch with some bugs and kinks to work out, but another thing to completely flop your launch with a laundry list of problems.
-
Yeah... but its nothing new with Destiny unfortunately.
-
That I do agree with it. I should have known, based on their Year 1 track record.
