The misinformation and perceived radio silence is not really of any help at all and comes across as a massive slap in the face at this stage, but I am hoping Bungie will step up and address the current issues in full. They're a quality company that produces top-notch games, but their lack of customer support, at times like this, is far from encouraging. Paying for DLC is no issue at all, but when you have companies like Rockstar offering free DLC and no region blocking, it makes you wonder what happened with this crew.
