That's why you don't pre-order DLC to a game that is commonly known to have all kinds or errors. Especially when the game is built to house the DLC before you're even allowed to play it. That update the other day wasn't just for the general game changes. It carried all the Taken King content too, then Bungie locked it up behind a paywall. That's what the actual downloads today are for. I apologize that you Next-Geners are having this problem.. but that's why you don't pre-order DLC. Pre-ordering isn't that great to begin with but you should really only do it with full game titles...
