Yeah I'm having the same issue. I have Xbox one and Xbox 360. My boyfriend still has 360 and instead of buying the DLC twice, I transferred it from him on xbox360 and it's not letting me play at all.
They slap out overpriced DLC and they don't support the option to share. Disgusting.

Ruzude has told me he found a temporary solution to this, feel free to try, can't hurt right? "Gonna go into a little more detail this time. In my house there are two Xbox 360s, my brothers and mine. I bought the taken king legendary edition on his Xbox so he would be given the license which lets anyone on the Xbox play the game with the owner(me) needing to be signed in. Well when taken king launched it said my brother had to buy himself and he wasn't able to use the license. So I was able to get it working by signing into my account on his "licensed" Xbox and deleting the "taken king/suros/taken king weapons" files from his storage, starting up legendary edition and downloading them all again. I then stayed signed into my account but also signed into his account and started destiny with his controller so that it would sign him into destiny servers, it let me play the the taken king campaign from his account(it didn't before) so I turned off his Xbox completely and booted back up and only signed in as him and it worked"

I honestly think destiny is going to lose a bunch of players because of this. We know there is going to be some excuse eventually from bungie but no progress. So bungie if you care to prove me wrong then get to work fixing this issue please.

Yeah they already lost a lot of European players due to the overpriced DLC that they didn't bother fixing. Now they're restricting so many people from playing TTK. License transfer worked last time when my boyfriend downloaded destiny and the season pass off me. Defo not paying £40/$60 twice...

See it worked for the house of wolves for me too. So why not now? It is honestly really stupid. They need to just release it for free to everyone.

Yeah I know it worked lol. Probably not working cause it's somewhat glitched for everyone, even people who bought it.

All I know is it better be fixed when I wake up or I'll be very upset with this entire game and anything else they make.

Yeah I agree. I stayed up all night for a dlc that I can't even play now.

Boycott Bungie. TTK does not allow all players on a single xbox to play (similar to all previous DLC except a few player specific pieces) DO NOT BUY DESTINY THE TAKEN KING IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PLAYERS. ONLY THE PAYING PROFILE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY. UR wasting your time. My kid bought TTK with his own funds on our main 360 so everyone could play...like normal. Like Borderlands, like CoD, like Halo. Cannot access TTK on the same xbox he bought it on. Eff you Bungievision, I'm not paying 40$ a player for a mediocre game.
