Wondering if you could help.
I'm on Xbox 360 and I bought The Taken King digital download ($40) on his account, because he had the money for it. I can access the content on his profile, but I can't on mine (it says Requires TTK)
DLC has never worked like this before.
I bought TDB and HOW on my account, but my brothers were able to play it perfectly fine on their accounts. What gives?

How did you purchase just the taken king dlc?

go to orbit, click on the red thing. it'll prompt you to buy it

I've only purchased the house of wolves dlc, do I have to have both of them? my only options are the legendary or collectors edition.

did you go to orbit in game? it should be the middle option for the download of TTK for $40

Yeah my only options are 60 dollars or 80 dollars.

I'm on the same situation, my brother has been buying all the expansions and i've been able to play them, and now it comes out that the taken king can't be shared

Same happened to me try having the account that bought TTK signed in as well that worked for me

Same issue, my son owns Destiny and Expansion pass, and I have been able to play them all on my profile. We got him Taken King $40 version, and my profile is blocked. Bungie, any ideas why the digital license is not working across multiple profiles on the same console?

I think it was always mean't for one profile only so your going to have play on ur sons profile for it!

No, the digital rights agreement you can read before you download it specifically says all accounts on the original Xbox it was formatted to have the right to use. That is why HoW and such work.
