This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.
[u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u]
• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Can I get strike specific gear such as a flayer mantle cloak by doing the regular strike, like the dust palace level 20

Even though they say legendary marks aren't capped I have not been getting any from the heroic strikes or weekly. I have already been through about 200ish legendary marks

So I bought the full, $60 legendary edition, complete with all dlc and THE FULL GAME, but I previously owned a trial of the game. I played it fine without it being on trial for a few days but then it put me back on trial and locked off everything I payed for. Can you please help? I'm a big fan and I just want to play the taken King.

How does this help the players who first ran into issues in pre-ordering Taken King. Then were able to purchase Taken King via the Xbox live market place on 15SEP, but have yet to receive a code to redeem to access the Taken King content? I cannot speak for anyone else, but I have been loyal to Destiny since the Beta. Pre-Ordered Destiny. Pre-Ordered both Expansions. Attempted repeatedly to Pre-Order Taken King. All I have for the $44 dollars I paid is a confirmation email from Microsoft stating that I purchased Taken King. Along with a billing page under my Microsoft account stating that I purchased Taken King. No code, and no access to the Taken King content. How is Microsoft or BUNGiE going to make this right? Four days have past and again all I have is a email saying I bought something. -Frustrated!

Is anyone aware at bungie that since ttk dropped the connection for alot of people has become unplayable!? Never had many dramas before thisndropped now im getting booted 3 or 4 times every hour it needs to be fixed!

Bungie pls help! I have the legendary edition (R3) and my account is R3, how come I can't access the house of wolves and the dark below expansions? I only have TTK; this is unreasonable given that I paid full price for something I did not get

I'd love to play the Taken King, but I keep getting booted from the servers with a "sheep" error code. Last night I spent an hour just trying to join my Fireteam. Internet on my side was perfect. I reset the router and my Xbox one. Tried again, same code. So disappoint.

would love to be able to play it but it has unavailable on the xbox one store(have even tried purchasing online by going to the destiny page)but nothing changes every time i try(have even tried different regions and a fresh reinstall on xbox one and stills says unavailable) i have the expansion pass from the first preorder from when destiny first came out i'm not buying content i already own just so i can play would love a solution thanks

Still no TTK or the game. Loads to the title page then crashes-reboots. Must be going on 113 times now. I have uninstalled/re-installed every piece of the game. cleared persistent memory and rebooted router and modem almost as many times. I just want my money back now.

My fiancé and I both completed (we think?) the Echoes of Oryx quest line, doing all of the Taken War missions, but we have not received the Second Wind achievement. Is there more to this or is it possibly glitched? Thanks!

Completed Year 1 MoT prior to TTK logged in nothing and figured it hasn't been released yet. I then saw all my friends showing their new bling and still nothing for me. Checked my Destiny app to find all Gold Chest finds were at 0 this morning with the time expired. Found the missing TTK Digital Collector's Edition Content emote for my warlock (was in the kiosk), same thing for the exotic class item for my warlock (was in kiosk, but now I need to repurchase as if I deleted it myself...). What is still missing is the shader for my warlock that came with the aforementioned content pack, and the promotional emblems that were redeemed on Bungie.net (quite a few cannot be found in kiosk or anywhere else).

still have yet to receive the in game content i was supposed to receive for buying the digital collectors edition not the shaders emotes or the exotic class armor or weapons. so i guess i just donated 20 bucks to bungie since its been almost a week and all of my friends have since then received theirs that purchased it.

So my brother and I share the same ps4. He preordered taken king on his account and he can play it and all but when I wanna play it it says I have to buy the taken king WHAT DO I DO PLEASE HELP!!

I have taken king on my lock and on my hunter but my titan doesn't have access why is this happening ? Bungie I have emailed tried to locate a number for you PLEASE RESPOND!

i updated the file last night for destiny and bought the £55 taken king this morning because the £40 wasnt available for purchase and now i have update the file again which is going to take another day even though i have already updated the file!! ive paid so much to get the taken king and now i have to wait for something ive already done!!

So I live in the UK and have decided that I now want the TTK on the Xbox one, but I cannot purchase the the normal version of TTK. What do I do?

I got a new PS4. The included codes in the Legendary Edition disc doesn't work properly. Got the Taken King but the Expansions were still locked. Says the Weapons Pack was added but not in-game at Vanguard QM No Suros arsenal too and every other goodies that should have been included.
