[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps: - From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application - Press the Menu button on your controller - Select "Manage Game" - Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side) • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition. • Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear. • We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u] • All available information on Armsday can be found with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13613]this FAQ[/url]. • Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. [u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u] • There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. [b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b] • Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more. UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.   • You guys really need to get your crap together. I can't even download the game on to my hard drive. I contacted Xbox support. I was on the phone with them for hours. I contacted my internet provider, no problem there. This is my first time playing Destiny and let me say, you guys are not off to a good start with me. I understand if you're having issues with the new DLC, but not even having the ability to download the game is ridiculous. The game is frozen at 82% and no matter what I do, it won't progress past that point. I just want to play the game so whatever it is you guys need to do to fix it do it. I bought this game 3 days ago and it's still stuck. Also, I love how dedicated to your fans you are, not putting a customer support line on your website, so I guess I have to wait forever for a response from you guys cause the only support you guys give are these forums.

    • BUNGIE!!!! Dude, come on, my game is still stuck on "verifying content" 38%. It is going on an entire week, an entire week of Taken King content, the raid, xur, what have you and STILL I am completely barred from playing the game because it won't install. Throw me a bone for God's sake, I paid money for this content just like everyone else and in response, I'm getting ignored.

        • I NEED HELP I'VE POSTED ON YOUR HELP FORUMS AND NO ONE IS GIVING ME A SOLUTION! FOR THE FORTH TIME NOW IVE HAD TO REDOWNLOAD DESTINY! IT GETS STUCK AT YOUR "VERIFYING CONTENT". I'VE BEEN STUCK AT THIS FOR 3 DAYS NOW!! IT HAPPENED ONCE DURING THE HOUSE OF WOLVES BUT IT EVENTUALLY STOPPED. IT HITS 84% THEN SHUTS MY PS4 OFF. SOMEBODY HELP ME.

            • It would be nice to get a formal Bungie response if purchase of the Disc or DLC will allow more than one console user to play the game. DLC Usage Restrictions states, "You can use this item on the first Xbox 360 console you downloaded it to. Access to this item will also be granted to all users on this first console." At this time, only one Xbox 360 user is being allowed, and M$ support says that is "how it is".

                  • I have been trying to transfer my taken king from my xbox360 to my xbox1 but it hasn't been working. I was able to do it for the last to expansions but it won't let me for the taken king. In not sure what to do. Plz help. I don't want to buy two taken kings.

                    • I wish I could play the game but I just keep getting kicked the hell off on the Xbox One then when I run the network test it shows all good that's the destiny severs for you!                     • Can you please help my account KYR_SP33DYkye on ps3 as I won't let me go onto the destiny servers. The message always says the servers are unavailable right now and it just tells me to visit the bungie website. No error code or anything.

                    • Every maybe 100 times you Sprint. You don't Sprint you half Sprint,as in you go half the speed you usually do when you Sprint. I am sure I am sprinting too. Other people have also encountered this. So something with Sprint button is wrong. It only happens every once in a while but it is a pretty big bug.

                    • I purchased via in-game director on Xbox360, no problems, works good for me, but my kids accounts cannot play on the same Xbox360. It asks them to buy for $39.99. Have unplugged, cleared cache, downloaded again, and started from game menu, and no change. Posting in case anyone else is having this issue. If so, comment. I will try and call Xbox support.

                          • I just beat your new raid and got all the exotic quest itams and talked to eriss farmed flakes went back got my rune and lost the quest feed. Considering that was the majority of my rewards for hours of play were is my excotic gun? I also cant get the exotic sword quest ????                             • I have been a loyal fan of this game but bungie has crossed the line I bought the taken king using my brothers account because we share a Xbox usually it would give it to both of use but now I have to buy it again fix this please otherwise I will have to stop playing destiny I'm begging you
