[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u] • There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • I'm on xb1 and every time I try to get into a crucible match it will let me play then suddenly say I left my fireteam so I'm returning to orbit, o didn't leave and I was solo

  • My veterns quest hasnt shown up, ive talked to the npc but nothing is there neither in my abandoned quests

    • When I play on Xbox One and PS4 the displays shake ( shakes and looks like artifacts). The map in the top left corner of the screen shake if move. The weapon and ammo display also shakes. The last two things that shakes is the level bar and sometimes the bottom half where the level bar is also shakes when moving. Another thing On Xbox One digital version people and enemies sometimes be in one place then be in another place, also when a enemy I just killed just reappears in the same place. Another thing is when I go to engrams and other vendors accepted sometimes has no sound when I click on it. Is anyone having the same problem as me? I wish this was fixed because my OCD acts up when it does it. I even reinstalled it too on my Xbox One. Please fix. :) Thank you

      • Quest not completing correctly. I have a Quest marker at the Tower but no one in the Tower has a clue I have this. They all just ignore my need to make this Arrow go away at the tower. I logged onto my 2nd Titan and moved everything to the vault, checked the postmaster like 3000 times because Bungie makes you stupidly paranoid... Then I went ahead and deleted it. Created a Hunter, completed the first mission: LO AND BEHOLD, there was no spark to be found. Whats going on? When's the sparks being released?         • PS4 - cvusc. Presently have 41 Hadium Flakes in my inventory, quest will not complete on my Titan. Tried abandoning quest and resetting it - no luck. Suppose to need only 25 Hadium Flakes. Now not sure if I want to do the same on my Hunter. Also after running strikes/story quests (2) exotics dropped at two different times yet no where to be found in gear or postmaster. Other than that loving TTK and the nuances. Tried NF this morning after reset (week #2) with two accomplished players at 295, I'm 289 on Titan. Couldn't get past the first part after 35 mins. we gave up !!! Sure would love my Blade quest finalized and hopefully future exotic drops that flash will be there at conclusion of game. Thanks

          • Anyone else still having issues with other profiles not being able to access the DLC? Boyfriend bought it and can play it, but I can't:( Why has this not been fixed or even acknowledged yet?!? Very disappointed in bungie right now:(

            • To everyone still unable to play Destiny, Bungie clearly doesn't care that there are still a ton of users unable to play since the 2.0 update or the TTK release. They're ignoring the forum and only want to answer posts that are the user's fault, so let's all let them know how we feel using 1-star Amazon reviews warning potential buyers that they may never get to play the game they're paying for.

              • Guys so I think I may have -blam!-ed up my Touch of Malice I grabbed all the Calcified Fragments before completing the Hunger Pangs quest line and now my game won't give me the rest of the quest and suggestions or am I just SOL?

                • Now it's the morning of the 24th (Sept) and still no access to Destiny-TKK. After reading other posts I get that it isn't just me. That said, it sure would be great if the game I ALREADY PAID FOR worked.... News on whatever is wrong or something more specific than, 'we are investigating,' would help. Don't know what needs investigating.... I can tell you from experience it is broken. How about FIX THE DAMN GAME!!!!!!

                    • This release has been a nightmare. Every time I check on my one issue's (MoT emblem) status, I see a whole bunch of new ones added on. I mean, what is going on? Did Activision rush Bungie that much, resulting in a premature release? What gives.

                    • Hello Bungie, first I like to congratulate you on a fantastic game! Year one was great, but my friends and I love year two more!! That being said, my issue it this- I cannot matchmake because I have satellite internet ( at least that's the reason is so I've been told) so Crucible, strikes, or anything else requiring others who are not on my friends list, have to be done solo. I can't even access Crucible unless I piggyback with a friend. I'm not a crucible guy, so not a big deal, but my son is! I just need help on strikes. Can you please tell me what I can do, or does Destiny not support all types of Internet? I would very much like to hear from you.... Thanks for your time, Cheers

                    • please raise the sensitivity level to 15 or a little more higher really want to be able to control my characters exact turning motion he feels stiff at times and it's frustrating. another thing usually when it gets close to reset the raids always act up & start lagging is there anyway you can fix that?

                      I have had Destiny since release with the expansion pass and I did not receive any of the VIP rewards. I have tried all I know and nothing has worked. Please help. Edit: Another problem, I recently created a Warlock and it has not received the TTK collectors edition items.

                      • Ever since TTK came out all my spinmetal, helium filaments, and my relic iron are gone. It is really hard to find more and I can't upgrade my weapons!!! Please add an easier way to get materials back!!!

                        • I have been walking around the dreadnaught for the last 3 days looking for these hadium flakes. Every one of my friends gets them and the only thing I get out of the chests are glimmer. I tried everything from abandoning the quest to having hunters guide me to every chest and still no hadium flakes please help!!
