This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Hello Bungie. I followed the steps you have highlighted on the 9/26 update notes and I still cannot access my Suros emblem or shader. In an effort I tried deleting those items and reinstalling and I am now not able to get them back. Additionally, before all of this happened, the recent patch required me to validate my license, ever since no Suros.

Umm yer about the wepons pack and suros pack yer it's now saying I don't even own them not even in the mange games or exbox store if I don't get this content back I Will be angry and upset with you bungie you have fixed things in the past with the game now fix this 2hy is this sort of thing always a issue and it seems most issues are 9n the xbox 360 and xbox one fix it because I'm not paying -blam!-ing £20 for a shader and emblem

Cant play destiny because I cant download 5 gb patch. it hits a certain percentage and goes back to 0 percent, any solutions?

I will keep repeating this but no update on this issue with the digital standalone edition. Its unavailable in the xbox store and the ingame directory link doesn't work at all. I bought both expansions but still nothing. When is issue getting addressed because this is more important than a few uncommon Suros weapons.

I did the lost and found quest and I did not get my exotic reward. What do I do.

Why do still have a purple triangle over the tower. I've spoken to everyone there no one wants me and there's nothing left to pick up from abandoned missions. And I have now quests or bounties that need me to go back there

I got an error message saying some of my content was corrupt. I pre ordered the Taken King and got the shader and the emblem but never got the weapons or the emotes. I uninstalled the Suros bonus pack as to reinstall it but it disappeared and now tells me I have to buy the $80 bundle to get what I was already supposed to have. Please fix this. Thank you

I dont see why it wouldnt... because my rank would be 40, all weapons and gear would be from taken king, and i have things in my inventory that can only be found on the dreadnought. Please help, don't want to have to pay even more money... ive already put 140 bucks into this game and its pissing me off. Im not getting my moneys worth. The only thing i dont have on the xbone is the taken king dlc, but i bought the legacy edition on 360. Will i have all dlc on the xbone?

I'm still waiting for the taken king to be available to me. I own both of the DLCs and it refuses to let me buy it and I'm not going to pay $20 more just to be able to play with my friends.

Update as of 9/27 12:12am: I followed the 9/26 notes instructions for the xbox one, but I still can't reinstall the suros weapon pack, it continues to say bundle only... I still have the shader and emblem in my inventory and it continues to say I require the pre-order.

I can't get VIP rewards. The rewards progress character is deleted in my misses.. Can't VIP rewards be done now again? I'm English is very noob sorry...

With the "vanish in smoke" perk active, whenever I go invisible the minions still hit me and will just face me and back up like I have Ebola. The Phalanxes also are the worst with me facing me like I'm there and holding their riot shields up and they bodyslam me like John Cena the second or a second before I uncloak.

I have a vanguard quest for my hunter to fully upgrade my blade dancer subclass, but it turns out my sub class was already maxed out. It doesn't seem like I can actually finish the quest so I guess I'm going to have to completely restart my Hunter to get the blade dancer emblem?

I logged on my brothers account Xbox one, where he also has the original destiny disc and has paid for all the expansions. I logged on his account to purchase the three of coins from xur since he hasn't been able to get on. Well when I switched back to my account it won't let me play tk expansion. I click purchase via destiny game and it says you already paid for this expansion. When I go to my games and apps and go to manage game it and click the on the bundles to the side it shows the, all as installed. But the game has it locked! I want to play expansion! The above guide for Xbox one has been used and did not resolve the issue.

I moved the Arsenal pack from my external hard drive to my internal hard drive and I received the message "installation stopped" , I was forced to uninstall it and now I can't get it because it is part of a bundle.

I went onto my copy today and for some reason it wont let me use my preorder Suros Shader or Emblem . I had it working till today and I am not getting no weekly vip quest plus I notice you made emblems for each class mastered will I got done one of my subclass new quest line that you made before taken king release. I did not get its emblem

I just lost access to my suros pack on the Xbox one, and the game said I had to reinstall the content. However when I went to manage my destiny I uninstalled the suros pack, but when I go back to the suros pack it requires a bundle only. I don't know if I screwed myself because I uninstalled the suros pack or if bungie is having problems, but I am most upset.
