This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

When I try to make the purchase in the PlayStation Store it says "unavailable for purchase." I have already contacted PlayStation support regarding this issue, they advised me this was a developer issue and referred me to Bungie. I am trying to purchase the digital download for players who already own Destiny and both older expansions. I even tried to make the purchase with my PC and have the same issue. When I contacted PlayStation support, I advised them that in my PS4 Library it only shows me having Destiny and the House of Wolves expansion. The Dark Below was not showing. I have previously purchased The Dark Below expansion, and when I play Destiny I can access the content. It is definitely a weird issue... =\ PlayStation Support advised me that I had never purchased Destiny or The Dark Below, only the House Of Wolves expansion. This is most definitely a mistake, since my Warlock character has all of The Dark Below raid gear equipped. I'm sure I also have trophies on my account to show I have The Dark Below. So far I have tried... Restoring licenses on PS4 Reinstalled Destiny I am still having the same issue. =C I would really like to purchase and play The Taken King, any help is appreciated.

Bungie, I got the raze lighter on my warlock so I went to start the sword quest on my Titan, after getting the arc edge I transferred it over to my warlock to max it out then I put it back on my Titan but there's no quest for the exotic one I have checked both my Titan and my warlock but the sword reforged quest is nowhere to be seen. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Bungie, I was in the middle of playing King's Fall on Xbox One and we had just finished the jumping puzzle after Golgoroth. At this point in the game, I tried to go to my character screen but nothing was loading. Then we started to move forward and I got a loading screen and then the screen went black and I couldn't do anything. I did a hard reset and tried to relaunch the game and my Xbox One froze. Now I'm stuck on the Green Screen and I have seen and heard reports of TTK and its patches causing issues with Xbox One. What is going on? I'm with Xbox Support right now to try and get my Xbox One back to the home screen right now and I'm going to have to try and update with a USB at this point.

I had Suros installed but I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and it doesn't show up on the right-hand side where its suppose to show up for re-installation. Please help!!

I pre-ordered the digital edition of the taken king for my xbox one prior to the release of the game. Since then I've had the Suros Arsenal pack shader and emblem in my inventory without issue. A couple days ago both suddenly stopped working. When I went to select them it said that I had to purchase the content in order to access it. After the situation not rectifying itself, I decided to go into my manage game section. I selected the arsenal pack and selected uninstall, with the intent of trying to reinstall the file. Instead, when I uninstalled the arsenal pack it completely disappeared. Now when I select the arsenal pack in the xbox store the only option available to me is "Bundle Only". How can I get my pre-order bonus back? I don't want to repurchase the entire game!

I have already contacted Microsoft and this is honestly starting to get me annoyed. I bought the Digital Download for the Taken King Twice now, once for the One and once for the 360 so I received the Suros Arsenal Pack as a bonus for the Xbox One and now i am unable to access it. I tried uninstalling it but when i went to reinstall it the damn thing was no where to be found. Please help! Literally I just want to be able to use my emblem...

I have problems with my pack of suros, which got to pre-purchase the expansion of destiny the king of the possessed, this happened today 09/27/2015, try to reinstall the pack of suros, but now it appears not available for installation, I await your prompt response and help with this problem.

Up until very recently I've been playing vanilla destiny and the taken king on the original disc. Last week or so it would take two or three eject/ reinserts to get it to boot up. All other games I own load up just fine. Today it decided it would not load at all. I bought a new taken king disc and it would not recognize that either. My question is whether or not my progress would be honored through my bungie.net account if I deleted my game data so as to have a fresh start as I've seen that as a fix for issues. Any help would be mightily appreciated as I've now got 120 dollars tied up in this game. Thank you, guardians.

Hey, I had the SUROS pack and I lost it. I thought if I uninstalled it and reinstalled it I'd get it back but it won't let me, it's now behind a Bundle only paywall. Help?

restoring you licenses does not work the hot fix 2.0.0.4 bungie put out disabled the pre-order content for me it worked until i loged out of the game i was all ready upset over the exotics not coming to year to when we worked so hard to get the ones bungie cut. THANKS FOR NOTHING BUNGIE
