[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps: - From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application - Press the Menu button on your controller - Select "Manage Game" - Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side) • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition. • Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating [u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u] • If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url] • We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear. • We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b] •We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items. • We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u] • There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. [b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b] • Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more. UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.   • I will keep repeating this but no update on this issue with the digital standalone edition. Its unavailable in the xbox store and the ingame directory link doesn't work at all. I bought both expansions but still nothing. When is issue getting addressed?

    • I completed "the old hunger" quest and got the Touch of Malice but did NOT get the shader which is called Beltane. Bungie why didn't this shader Pop? I had space in my inventory i made sure of that. Is there anything I can do on my end to cause the shader to be available in my collection? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

                • In the chaperone quest where I need to go kill the shield brothers, how am I supposed to manage to kill the shield brothers on a 290 light level mission with a heroic modifier on with a shotgun and be the one who kills them with a shotgun. I ran through it multiple times now and have failed constantly. How am I supposed to do this?

                      in the game it says I got 44 fragment and when I check my grimmoire it says I got 45 ghost, the only one left are the a boos I didn't kill last week and the other are undiscovered please help

                      • I completed all my class quests for warlock,completed sun singer and voidwalker quests that rewarded me with the level40 bonds before the 15th...and did stormcaller quests...I got none of the emblems

                          • I am having a problem with not receiving glimmer when I am killing any enemies. I see it drop on the ground, but it does not show up on the in my inventory or on the side of the screen. The only way that I get glimmer is from dismantling equipment. #help

                                  • I preordered the ttk for xbox one but when I logged on today my suros weapons, shader and and were all locked with a message saying, "requires preorder exclusive." I went to manage game on my xbox and the suros pre order pack is installed. What is going on?

                                    • I have been put through a gauntlet attempting to receive benefits from pre-order that never arrived. I have also been jugginling the same or similar quests on multiple character types for my account. The first part, is something I am waiting for you, Bungie to resolve. The second part, is my own choice and part of playing the game. The only part, this far into the new content, is the topic of calcified fragments. I have read numerous online conversations, I have watched multiple videos on where things are, all in my attempt to find out which fragment I'm missing. The game informs me that I have 44 out of 50, while my grimoire and other websites that poll this information, say that I have 45 out of 50. I have spent several hours of my free time attempting to learn how I can find out, which character has found which fragments with no success. I would like to learn if anyone has addressed this problem and if there is anyone that can provide a sincere, honest answer. I've read several threads on the Bungie web site and I have seen no replies or answers from Bungie themselves. I would appreciate a real answer.
