[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • I am unable to purchase the extra collector edition content. I have purchased destiny, and all dlc's separately. Does me living in Canada have anything to do with it?

  • I am at the step for the touch of malice where you need to get calcified fragments but I have 45 fragments but it says I only have 39 can anyone help

  • So I bought TTK for 360 as soon as it released and made sure to play at minimum the first story mission on day one of TTK but I did not receive the Suros weapon pack as was promised. One of my friends who also purchased the standard digital copy and played with me that day had gotten the Suros pack. What do I need to do or what did I miss with the qualifications?

    I guess bungie only cares for those missing items and could care less for those [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/156222421/0/0] unable to access[/url] the content all together. Shows where the money goes... [spoiler] the link is to my own thread about the situation, but there are many MANY others out there with the same or similar issue[/spoiler]

  • Well, firstly I was leveling my hunter and then I decided to create a new warlock, so I deleted my old one but, I didn't open the package that contains the class item, shader and emote. After creating the new one, and used spark of light to get to level 25 ASAP. When I got to the tower there was no package at the postmaster, but the exotic class item was in the kiosk and the emote was there too, but no signal for the class shader ! I use PS4 and I already did that license thingy If someone didn't understood the context please let me know so I can try to explain it better ! See you star side ! P.S.: Sorry for my english, I am portuguese Tl;dr : I bought 20€ add on and I deleted the character before picking the postmaster package, and now I can't access the warlock shader, but still have access to the rest via kiosk.... Some people are telling that they had the same issue !

      • Bungie u have skipped over a big problem there are people like me who have purchase the ttk yet in game it still says we need to purchase ttk we have talked to Sony n they say we have to clear it up with Bungie

        • I've had an issue with legendary engrams giving me blue items (rare gear/coins) and I've had exotic engrams give me legendaries. My drop rate for gear that's useful and anything relating to leveling (runes, armour ect) seems to be non existent compared to my friends

            what about me I still am unable to access any of the content I purchased the game says that I haven't purchased the taken king when I have proof of my purchase in my purchase history can you change purchase to free since I already purchased it and I still get my bonus content

                I will gladly appreciate if Bungie or anyone can answer my question and thanks that would mean a lot to me. So I am playing Destiny on a Xbox 360 and whenever I press "A" to play it says signing in then it eventually says "Attention unable to connect to Destiny servers". This is unusual for me because i have fast WiFi and my friends that were currently online were playing Destiny also. This is annoying for me because i just got the Taken King for $40 and I cant play so far. When i exit Destiny to go to the Xbox Dashboard it disconnects me from xbox live. I tested out if my wifi was acting weird by playing other online games and they worked fine. So its not my wifi. I would sometimes get the cattle error too when trying to log in and i just dont know at this point. RARELY i get logged in but when i do it says contacting destiny servers on the bottom a lot and it sends me out to orbit after ten minutes with the anteater error then eventually with the weasel error. Please help me thank you. Now im getting cacao and banjo errors ugh

                  • I cannot acces suros preorder items so I decided to uninstall and reinstall but it won't shop up in my uninstalled list. All I want is to acces the things I have previously paid for. Bungie please help

                      I am having the same problem with my Suros emblem not working (says "requires Preorder Exclusive" when I did pre order). I tried all the steps laid out in the links below but nothing worked. Unfortunately I also tried uninstalling the suros Arsenal pack to try and reinstall it before looking at the forums, and now when I try to reinstall it says "Bundle Only". What do I do? Am I going to lose these rewards forever? Please help.

                      • Just sounding off as someone who still has not received the Veteran's Tour quest despite reaching lvl 30 in vanilla. Last update was 10 days ago; at least a note that the investigation is ongoing would be nice.
