[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b] [u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u] • Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps: - From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application - Press the Menu button on your controller - Select "Manage Game" - Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side) • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition. • Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear. • We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b] •We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items. • We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u] • All available information on Armsday can be found with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13613]this FAQ[/url]. • Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. [u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u] • There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. [b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b] • Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more. UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.   • Focused Light issue. I redeemed 2 Focused Light codes. This was the first time doing so on my PSN account I have done it numerous times on my Xbox Live account with no issues. I followed all of the steps, went through redbullquest.com finished on Bungie.net, just like normal. Everything looked fine, codes went through, but still no focused light. That was two days ago. GT is jdmountford.

  • I'm a crucible player, I play a lot maybe too much and everytime I finish a game, (I play rumble, I win 80ish% of the time) on any game mode, people with a negative k/d (0.9 and below) or did completely horrible are always getting legendary engrams/weapons etc. I thought you'd fixed this?

  • For the chaperone quest I'm not getting counted for my kills with my other weapons, even sometimes my last word. Why is this happening

    • me and my fire team were doing the mission for the black spindle and we completed it with 1 second and it ended before the mission ended and we did not get the black spindle my gamer tag is the same as above

    • How bout fix the issue with Patrol Chest or Chest in General where you end up getting nothing in the chests after 10sh. AND THEN if you Orbit out and in, and after the first 4 chest the problem comes back AGAIN.

      • Hey bungie just to let you know you loot table is still as flaud as crotas. I have done the kings fall three times my first time beatin oryx it dropped me 2 pulse rifles. My second raid it dropped me nothing exept the chest peice that i got in the first raid and my third raid all i was given was a ghost and another peice of class armor which i had already obtained from the first raid. This raid was adviertised that it would take your current loot into account before it drops you something so that you have an icreased chance for a different drop well in 2 raids i have got nothing new and it is pretty ridiculous get your shit together and learn how to make a -blam!-in loot table

              • Update on 9/30: Cannot connect to Crucible. I'm on Xbox 360 live, I have a good green connection. I reset my internet modem and restarted my Xbox. I cleared my cache and transfers my license to be sure. I don't know what's going, I've tried connecting to most Crucible and I am stuck on 1/12 guardians searches. Please help.

                • Well, firstly I was leveling my hunter and then I decided to create a new warlock, so I deleted my old one but, I didn't open the package that contains the class item, shader and emote. After creating the new one, and used spark of light to get to level 25 ASAP. When I got to the tower there was no package at the postmaster, but the exotic class item was in the kiosk and the emote was there too, but no signal for the class shader ! I use PS4 and I already did that license thingy If someone didn't understood the context please let me know so I can try to explain it better ! See you star side ! P.S.: Sorry for my english, I am portuguese
