[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b] • We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release. • We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • Have there been any updates on the VIP Rewards issue? I'm still waiting for the rewards and quest to show up. I bought the expansion pass at the Year 1 launch, so I should qualify for the rewards.

    • I had a problem getting my sword went through the whole story and didn't get the correct quest to get the sword instead it gave me the exotic quest that I didn't need and I hope bungie can fix the problem because now I'm forced to delete 1 of my characters jus so that I can try to get the sword quest I'm really angry that I did the story twice and couldn't even get the correct quest really feel like I wasted my time

    • i still cannot get past the title screen, checked all downloads, even reinstalled the game and still getting error code turtle with the message "could not download configuration files from bungie.net" if i cant access it after the FULL reinstall is complete i shall file a formal complaint. been on this game since day one pretty much and a prob like this has never arsien... annoyed.

      • can you please help fix the issue i have been having with connecting to your servers? Every time i try to log in i get error code caterpillar within about 3 minutes of getting in. I know it is an issue with the Xbox 360 because my friends who play on campus on their xbox one's and PS4's do not have this issue. Can someone PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS?!?! I did not pay for a brand new game just to have it sit in its case and not be able to play. Thank you Bungie for your time because i have wasted a lot of mine waiting...

            • Bungie; why doesn't my game work? I bought the base game when released.... And the season pass -at the same time. Played faithfully until TTK expansion then.... nothing. Got into the game once, leveled to 33 -just for playing- then.... nothing. Now I can't load the game. I get to the title page and crash-reboot. Must be 60-70 times now. I bought the digital download and the collectors edition -and got a refund. Then I figured I'd buy the $59.00 edition (yeah I know I was paying for stuff I already owned but I was desperate and I wanted to see if it would work). Nope, still broken (thankfully I got my money back for that too). Now I don't know what to do. Can't play the game because the base and the two expansion (House of Wolves and Dark Below) won't work without TTK. Do you Bungie -OR ANYONE ELSE- have a suggestion on how to get this game to work -or am I stuck with a broken P.O.S.? As a side note: Destiny is the only game that does not sync with the cloud when trying to load (after a complete 'restore factory defaults'). The others are: Advanced Warfare, Tomb Raider, Elder Scrolls and Ghosts. Any/all help greatly appreciated

            • This will be my 4th post. I pre ordered ttk hoping to get my spark to level up my hunter that I created. No spark. I did not delete and never picked it up from postmaster. I would like what I was promised please.

            • I've been having this issue where I have collected items, such as House Banners and Axiomatic Beads, and went to go turn them in at the Cryptarch and it only redeems one of them and deletes the rest. Has this happened to anyone else? I'll try to post a video of it happening the next time it does, but I'm hoping someone could look into it.

              • I think year one players should get more goods i mean we were there since the first day, some of use even played the alpha and beta like me. so bungie I think you should at least give year one people the new supers and the crusible maps and game types like.... rift,control,clash,you get it to every even the people who don't have the ttk , you can at least do that since you made a crappy game and you tryed to make it better but failed because the payment for the taken king which should have been in the original game to begin with.I'm not say i hate you guys or the game you made ( i played all of the halos and they were great)but you should put more in for all players like Big battle clan vs clan with fallen tanks , team snipers like in halo, and for things you should also put in are assassinations like halo,trading, and actual sparrow racing not the time racing like the ones on patrol and the last thing is use some of the map like the black garden before you go to the boss , and some of the strick places as pvp maps that you can download for free because a good way to get even more people to play your game is to do some free dlc and all MMO"S have them so you could do it to .

              • Thanks bungie. For allowing me to waste all my strange coins on "3 of coins" just get nothing out of it even though I used them and killed an utra. I used 15 of them and got nothing. Your "chances to get an exotic" is bullshit. So -blam!- your chances.Your chances are like 1 out of a million. So way to make a player dislike the game even more. Good job guys. Take that for some feedback.

                    • So if I've done all of the above, checked and verified add ons, correctly installed, licences updated... And I'm still not receiving my Suros pack (I'm only bothered about emblem and shader as promised) then I'd like to let you know there are still problems. Audio cuts out for me as well, especially when in a battle, grenades and shooting etc. I'm disappointed I never got my items, but I'd still like to receive what I've effectively paid for, even though promotional, I wouldn't have preordered unless guaranteed. Realising there are many issues but hoping you can resolve as soon as possible, it has been 3 wks +. Guardian

                      • I recently got the arc edge sword from shax and thought hey, can't I just move it to my Titan to level it up to 296 and then move it back to my warlock to get the quest faster? Well I did it and when I checked at the tower as my warlock with the sword maxed out and at level 296 there was no quest to do....how can I fix this to get the quest please help

                          • When is the app,(on iPhone as well as android), going to be updated as far as decalcified fragments and new ghosts?                               Is there any new update as to when Year One collectors edition owners are going to be able to redeem their exclusive emblems and ghost shell as well as the card code shaders and emblems since they aren't showing up in the kiosks? I hate to sound like that guy but I did spend $250.00 USD for exclusive content that Is no longer present or can be accessed at this point.
