[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507 [u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u] • The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • @BNGHelp1 Hey, I had a problem where I either didn't receive or accidentally deleted my "spark of light." I deleted my level 36 Hunter to create a new one, in that Hunter class I believe was a "spark of light" which must have gone with the character. I haven't used one but planned to on my new Hunter character. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

      • I recently completed a series of bounties that were tied to the Court of Oryx, with the last one having to use an antiquated rune and defeat Balwur in under 2 minutes. I turned in the bounty, but did not get the calcified fragment from it.

          • Destiny is unplayable because of constant beaver / ante eater error codes , this issue is new since the update that preceded the taken king by 2 weeks , and since then no reply or help on how to resolve the issue , my connection isn't a problem since I am playing on it since September 2014 , I request investigation for the issue

            • Jesus.... People lay off of Bungie, they're trying their hardest to fix what is broken. Its not as easy as you think to fix bugs and glitches, it takes time so be patient.

              • i gonna spam this on all forums until i got support. my characters dissapeared from game, and no I dont share my account or my xbox with anybody. this has been three days and I dod not receive an answer yet from Bungie. i want an investigation on what happened with my characters, i am a day one player with even the VIP package but the lack of support from you guys is frustrating. #destiny #help #cozmo #deej

                • I have gotten 3 obsidian minds, 3 light beyond nemesis, and 2 mask of the third man, from exotic engrams in the past two weeks. Can you please do something about the RNG because I thought it was supposed to have chance of giving me a different exotic but it looks like it has decreased the chance of getting different exotics.......Bungie please, please do something about the RNG, it is very frustrating. And lastly, pray to RNGesus.🙏

Please give a reason WHY this is the case, or better just put it on the marketplace. When you buy the Legendary Edition or Collector's Edition on Xbox 360 you download the content from within that app. 360 doesn't do preorders so this was a workaround, which makes sense. This also means that an unlock key download [i]exists[/i] so the fact that this is not available for separate purchase both confounds and infuriates me. That this was announced the day [i]after[/i] TTK came out too is particularly exasperating. I bought TTK at retail (for the download code) day one fully intending to get the CE download off the marketplace so I could use this content on 360, only to have the rug pulled out from under me. Remember when Luke Smith implied we should rebuy content we already own to get the Collector's Edition content and then there was a lot of angry people because of that and you caved and said you'd offer a separate download? Well on 360 we're actually being asked to rebuy content we already own with regards to the CE. Bear in mind as well that the physical collector's edition was only released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 making this Collector's Edition full download the [i]only[/i] way for Destiny players on 360, existing or new, to get this content. £70 bundle vs potential £20 upgrade if you would only offer it, hmm... And yet, [i]and yet[/i], what's really ridiculous is had this been known in advance I (and others) might have actually bought the CE bundle download instead! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

                      • Hello, I purchased the taken king collectors edition and when I first started playing I received the exotic mark and the new emote dance move. But now when I play at the top of the emote and mark it says requires taken king collectors edition and won't let me equip either which was weird because it let me use them a few days ago. it's extremely frustrating not getting what you pay for and trying to find someone to fix the problem.

                        • i did opryx and got the chest and recievd two primarys at the time is had full slots so i assumed it would go to my postmaster so i backed out and there was nothing waitting for me WHY???

                          Hello, my psn is SuperMan_1111119 and I've been playing for a while. I've gotten every DLC that has came out. I'm the person that helps people understand the raid as well as finds ways to simplify it for everyone to understand. I'm also the type of player that strives to be the best in that party which I usually am. My problems I'm having is the Daily that was Lost to Light on September 30th 2015. I completed the mission twice to get the Black Spindle and my 2 other teammates got the gun but i didn't get it. I had the most kills and only died once while my teammates died more than 3 times each. So I would like to know why did I not receive the Black Spindle when I clearly earned both of them??? Lastly I run the Kings Fall raid with a group and we beat it super fast with no set backs. We have the 20 Moldering Shards then when we beat Oryx we get 1 item that is garage!!! 4 out 6 people received 1 item but the game took our 20 Moldering Shards. For example it took my 20 Moldering shards and gave me a 302 ghost. That is complete bullshit!! Now what I want to know why are we getting lied to?? Moldering Shards - ( Extra Rewards will be granted when defeating Oryx in the King's Fall Raid with at least 20 of these) so that being REWARDS with an s attached to it is plural meaning more than 1!! So why are we getting screwed over??? I really like someone to explained this because shit like will make it to where I don't come back. Also just an FYI I have a lot people that have been saying the same thing so I'm not the only one that is getting screwed or debating on leaving the game. I do enjoy the game but not getting my rewards that should have been awarded to me will stop me from playing!!! If someone knows a email directly to Bungie that would be very helpful!!!                         • The calcified fragments im collecting are not counting, 2hen I check on destiny app it says I have 42, but on game play map it only says I have 39, I have been to places which has not counted for but no fragments are there and it looks like I will not be able to get The Touch Of Malice, what can you advise Bungie.                           • i did the lost in light daily the other day on ps4 for almost 5 hours and we would die at the very end when trying to get black spindle, we would get all ads cleared plus the boss with almost 30 seconds left and it wipes us out and no black spindle was rewarded and im upset about it. are there problems with that mission or something ???

                            • There is an issue with Oryx not dropping loot. I just went through my first run of the week and got literally nothing, not even a wormspore. And I still had all 31 of my moldering shards after the raid.
