This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.
[u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u]
• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

I have seen 3 posts from players who know they should receive an emblem (receive [b]Classified Weapon[/b] which should come with an Emblem) or (killed a certain Hive Ultra in a certain cave in a certain ship on a certain hive ship) but did not receive the emblem because their inventory is full. No problem, check the kiosk! Right? well... they all have stated that they cannot, as the kiosk says, "Cannot Hold more than One Emblem at a Time" Or whatever the generic message is, actually. What it seems is that these emblems are stuck in limbo (wherein the game is recognizing that an emblem is in an inventory while not actually there), and I am wondering if this can be on the radar for a hotfix.

I bought both TDB and HoW but it's unavailable in the Xbox store and the link in the directory doesn't work unless I remove previous dlc but then I have to buy the legendary edition. Its been four weeks so can this have priority because a number of players both on xbox and playstation still can't buy TTK even when they have all the requirements.

Hello bugie and bungie users, i unfortunately have put so much time into destiny, i was aware that there was an exotic drop asured to be givin to everyone once completinh the variks/queen taken king quest. I completed them i got nothing but the shader. I have no idea why and i want help.

So I have a arc sword and I was trying to get the exotic quest and I didn't get it at 280 and my sword is now 303 and I still have no quest! Someone from bungie should just give me the quest and look to see if I have toe exotic cause I don't have any swords that are exotic yet! Someone please help

I'm not sure what's happening but I have the exotic void sword and I'm trying for the exotic solar sword but my solar sword is 292 with every upgrade and I haven't got the quest on any of my characters can someone tell me what's going on?

And ONE new dance emote!?? So $20 for a shader & new dance move!! WTF!! Wasnt there supposed to be a weapons pack also?? You guys need to DETAIL what you're selling!!! Thats ridiculous you guys get away with that crap!!

Some of PvP quests just to unlock Lord Shaxx bounties are just hard. There must be other quests that can allows some of PvP players who are not good doing in PvP could unlock Shaxx weekly bounties

What is the current maximum calcified fragments you can collect? I currently have 46 and I think that is the maximum currently found but I'm not sure.

For more information, visit help.bungie.net" I get this error message several times per week. How can I fix this? I'm on Xbox One. I've never signed into XBL on another console or played destiny anywhere other than on my console. Why do I keep seeing this error? I'll reset my console, reboot Destiny and the error doesn't go away. Any suggestions?

Is anyone else having a problem where their ps4 would crash multiple times while attempting to play? I have tried initializing my system restoring it reinstalling destiny but still no fix. Please respond to this

Hey bungie! Please help! I recent bought Taken King digital collectors edition for my PS4. I received my emote, shaders and exotic gear for my hunter. I created a new Titan and I haven't gotten anything from the postmaster for that character. I'm kinda aggravated that I haven't been able to remedy the situation. I've tried renewing my licenses, and made sure that the content is indeed downloaded. Can you please help me? Or can anyone here give me some kind of answer or better yet a solution?

Bungie, I purchased TTK collectors edition at release. I check and everything is installed. I have the weapons that are at the vg quartermaster. But still have yet to receive the shaders, emotes.

I have all the sound glitches/lack of drops/and glimmer pick up problems as mentioned by many people on here. Kinda thinking it should be fixed by now...

Hey guys, whats the current situation with the Veterans Tour quest? It hasn't popped up for me yet, and i bought a special edition of Destiny last year which came with the expansion pass (which i redeemed), so i do qualify for the quest but it hasn't appeared for me at all!

I keep gettingg constant contacting destiny servers and getting kicked to login menu with error codes. This has been happeni the past two days. I can't do anything without getting kicked. Not only that, but as soon as I see contacting destiny servers, my Xbox party chat bugs out as well and doesn't work. I reset Xbox, router, etc, and it keeps happening. My internet is perfectly fine and I can play other games fine. Is this happening for anyone else?! It's getting so irritating cause I can't play anything cause in afraid of getting kicked!
