This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]

• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Me and my freinds are all hunters, and so to get a bit of variety we decided to all make titans. We used are sparks of light and did the first couple of missions then wghen i talked to zavala and went back into orbit, it said "requirements not met" on every single level, the expansion pack ones and the main story missions. Even levels like "restoration" or "strangers call" that i had already beaten said requirements not met. If you could help figure this out or fix it i would be very thankful.

I have apparently only collected 44/50 Calcified Fragments on my Warlock but my Grimoire says 46/50. I have gone through every strike that has fragments, the ones in Regicide, Kings Fall Raid, Court of Oryx (Minus Fanatic of Crota which I have not completed), and all of the secret locations throughout the Dreadnought. There are no fragments anywhere. Is there anything you guys can do to help me? I can't figure this out.

I am constantly getting disconnected every 2-8 minutes getting tons of error codes but most of the time I am getting disconnected from xbox live completely. With other games it seems to be fine it is mainly just with destiny. I tried it at a friends house and I am never disconnected so I thought it might be my xbox so they let me bring their xbox 360 to my house but it still didn't help. I also tried switching from wi-fi to wired directly connecting me to the router but that still didn't fix it. I just can't figure out what the problem is. PLEASE HELP ME at this point it is impossible to play.

Edited by TheElderElite: 10/7/2015 6:00:35 PMI have purchased the limited edition Destiny The Taken King ps4 that came with the legendary version of Destiny with all dlc installed...I boot up game make a warlock, get to tower, only received an emote from post master no shaders, no exotic, just the emote and some item that boosted me to level 25. I created a new character, a hunter this time, get to tower and no items at all in the postmaster, curious about this I proceed to creating a titan, again once I get to the tower nothing in the post master. This is very frustrating as I paid $400 dollars for this bundle and I don't get any items as advertised. Is this a bug? Or did I do something wrong? Please help me :(

Hello, Just got the original Destiny for 360 from a friend. While trying to install the game, it gets stuck "Downloading from Xbox Games Store" at 1.99GB and won't go further. I have contacted Xbox support and troubleshot with them. After, they suggested I contact you. How can I get past that "Downloading from Xbox Games Store" so I can play the game?!

Dear Bungie, I baught the legendary edition of your taken king combo (the one with all the DLC and the original game), now the following happened. On my PS4 I got my exotic cloak, the shader and stuff for my hunter, I used it for a few days and then it didn't work anymore, it said I didn't have the limited edition (which I do). The problem is that when I go to other character I still get the items, they are just not usable. I am really sad about this because I like these items, they are really nice. Please help, I don't care much for these things normally but when I buy I extra bundle then I do want to get the extra, but I also understand there can be problems, please fix it and you get all my support!

Bungie I'm missing my red preorder sparrow from when I originally preordered the game. It's not in my sparrow kiosk and I can't get a new one since Tess everis isn't in the tower for special orders

Hello, logged on this morning and I am missing a character and also when I log into my other max lvl characters it says that I am locked out of most missions and weekly even the raids which I completed yesterday.

Hi, please help i maxed my solar legendary sword on my titan got it to 286 and filled all notches but haven't received the exoctic sword quest? I have done the quest on my warlock for the arc sword and that all worked fine but when i went to start the next one on my titan it hasn't shown up? What do I do?

Hi Bungie, I am posting this here since I cant find a "Support Ticket/email" option anywhere. My friend and I were running Heroic Vanguard strikes earlier today (10/6/15) and during the Undying Mind strike, my Arc Sword disappeared! It happened while I was running my titan with my arc sword and swapping with my machine gun every so often, situationally. Well the strike got glitchy and when I went to equip my sword later in the strike, I couldn't find it.... it was no longer in my inventory/gear!! It never was taken out off my titan and moved to the vault, nor would I ever dismantle it since it was locked. SO now I have NO SWORD and I have no idea how to get it back!! Help please!!!

Usually there will be icons showing where the quest can be found in the tower, but it doesn't appear and I've spoken to every NPC possible. I can't tell when I need to visit the tower anymore and it's really misleading when I think that I do have a quest. What do I do?

Edited by Warsteinar: 10/7/2015 4:16:40 PMHaving issues recieving the Exotic Sword Quest Line from Shaxx. There is a quest marker above the tower on the destination map but there is no indication of there being one when you enter the tower. Both swords are above 280 and fully upgraded.

i am having an issue with connection. it keeps kicking me out, saying i have been removed from fireteam. though the issue is i am not in a fireteam. it keeps on doing this.

For the love of christ please help me on my thread. its been almost two weeks and I haven't gotten a shred of help with my problem. I can't get the redbull quest (make the vanguard smile) to appear. Im level 40, taken king quest line complete, AND light level 260... I've redeemed two useless codes and haven't gotten anything out of them. I've confirmed my console and it says I have redeemed the codes under redeemed codes... HELP DEVS.... Also, its a super "good" idea that there is no help email for me to send a messege to, and instead I have to post on this useless forum. thanks.

So I can't even describe how many problems I have with the whole concept of the Taken King. Among these issues is my lack of VIP rewards and quest. I'm not sure when you're gonna fix this, instead of worrying about "favorites" on your website, but I would appreciate you guys looking into it, as I feel like I deserve these items for putting up with all the crap.
