This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]

• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

hi im having a similer problem to others.. ive had disc copies of this game from the begining i aslo got the expansion pass as the seaon pass.. then bought a legendary edition of taken king for the 360 i also got the digital collectors edition of taken king for the 360 mainly as the noise from the cd drive annoys me ive been playing it fine for ages up to now today i log in everything looks normal i go to the director and then while im in there all the locations lock and a splash page comes up saying your trial is over go buy the game... is this some kind of joke seriously the amount of money ive put into this game for me an my mate 2 copys of nearly everything and this happens its stupid.... ive rerun the collectors edition downloader and redownloaded the game, redownloaded the licenses, clear the hard drive cache an nothing works.. has anyone managed to get it working is bungie or microsoft going to fix this..

I downloaded the taken long digital download on my Xbox 360 and it won't let me transfer it to my Xbox one any suggestions cause I really don't want to pay $40 to buy the DLC all over again

Ok. As I occasionally get bored with Destiny, I had decided to delete a character and start over. I made a titan, went through all of the story missions for TDB, HoW and TTK. So when I logged in today, the daily mission was the Eris Quest to destroy Crota's soul. The problem is that it is telling me that it "Requires Eris Quest Completion". Anyone else having this issue? I have tried logging out and restarting the Xbox and it didn't help. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Another question, so nothing on the internet is giving me enough info. I haven't got any of the expansions, and i cant do any of the weekly or daily crucible missions. When Destiny first came out i had the game and i could do them. Does this mean it has updated and you now need the expansions? or just 1 of them.

So I am still having the issue of being kicked out of the mission, strike or pvp. It says kicked out of the fireteam but I am not in one. It's annoying.

I have had the Taken King DLC Since it Came out and now it says I need to purchase it again is this not fixed yet, or going to be fixed soon bungie??

I completed the raid quest to get a 310 artifact but only got a 300 on my titan and no artifact for my warlock, my hunter did get the 310 artifact. All my xbox friends got theirs on all 3 characters so this has disadvantaged me. Please fix this bungie!!!!!!!!

I recently created my third character and I wanted to boost it to lvl 25 with the spark of light, but I never got it. I'm not really looking forward to play all the way to lvl 25 by myself so I was wondering if you guys could send me one? It's not on all 3 of my characters, not in the postmaster, not in my inventory, not in my vault.... I just never got one.

Hi Bungie, I pre-ordered the taken king ps4 console for the 15th when it came out and i redeemed my code, but i seem to only have the 3 map packs and no weopons or armour packs. i dont know what else is missing, i have tried to redeem my code again but it says its been used. ive spent a lot of money and was wondering if you could help me. kind regards Derulo_17

Please help someone help me my exotic sword quest has the warden knight marked but when I killed both the knight in 30 secs its still unmarked

NEED HELP! The quest for the exotic sword is glitch, I picked the arc edge on my warlock, once I got it I send it to the vault and picked it up with another character cause I had a bunch of bounties to turn in so did that to lvl up the sword even faster and i also infuse it past 280 attack, so I send the sword back to my warlock and I've been using it and the quest won't trigger. I've killed tons of enemies with it, I infuse it past 295 and the quest just won't seem to trigger for me. Do I have to be certain lvl on crucible or for eris? PLEASE HELP I'm on PS4

So i played today, and logged back in a few hrs later and it says i don't own the DLC anymore. It shows I've don't all the missions, but now they are all locked. PLS HELP

I am trying to buy the Taken King on my Xbox One, and when I view it in store it says unavailable. It doesn't even show the its price of $39.99, it just says unavailable. I did try buying it in-game, but it wouldn't let me do that either. I have 132 GB of storage left, I have Xbox Gold, and on my brothers account it gives him a price (we're trying not to buy it in his account because I already have $50 on my account). I did play Destiny after the Taken King was released on 9/15 without purchasing it. I think this may be the problem for whatever reason, and I would just like to know if I have to reinstall Destiny. Please Help

Hey Bungie I did Kings fall and didn't get a weapon from Oryx. I had space in my inventory and there was nothing in my postmaster. I don't know what happened, and i'm pretty PO'd about it.

Why is my digitally downloaded TTK content locking? It says my trial has expired? I quit the game then restarted it and now I have my content back but I hope this does not become a repeating occurrence because I do truly enjoy this game!
