[BUNGIE] Destiny: The Taken King Vital Information (UPDATED)

Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • After receiving my sleeper simulant my mobility has been really buggy. My sprint randomly stops (Sometimes right after I activate it) and my jump will just turn off at its own will.

        • Hello Bungie! I realize you guys are busy but this is my third time posting to try and get my issue fixed, please do your best to respond. I purchased the Collector's Edition of TTK and did not receive the Collector's Edition Items! How do I go about receiving these or having you guys investigate my account? The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items which can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar, were not there. I am a PSN/PS4 player and checked my library and the dlc is infact downloaded and installed. However, the items and access are not there. Finally, my TTK Collector's edition was $100! It did not register that I already owned Destiny vanilla, The Dark Below, House of Wolves. How do I get re-reimbursed for this? Please get back to me! Thanks, Zak

        • For some reason i cant match make any crucble games. It just continues to search for hours not matter what game mode i try. It started yesterday and ive tried everything.         • Hi, I was just wondering something: I'm a level 40 hunter and I've had the game for a long time now, but when I logged on to destiny, it said that my "trial" was over, but I bought all three expansions and never downloaded a trial. Anyone else have this happen to them? Also, there were two sparks of light in my postmaster. Are those bugged, or are they useable? Anyone else have that happen, too? Please respond

          • There's a glitch for me on the destiny app, it won't let me look at my characters or my grimoire card or anything bcuz it keeps saying it's classified and when I try to load it it says it's updating and no matter when I check it it's at 66 percent. This is pretty annoying cuz it means I can't transfer my stuff through the app and I can check any new grimoire cards I get, I also know a lot of others players who have the same problem where it says it's updating and it's always at 66 percent.

            • Hey, I play on xbox 360 and upon logging in this morning I got the prompt screen to purchase TTK even though I already have it lol. I just pressed dismiss and now I'm locked out of everything as if I never downloaded it. Why is this happening?

              • I'm playing 360. I keep getting a notification that I'm max level and to purchase the upgrade to TTK.. I bought and installed it on release, content is still accessible. Just annoying seeing this more often when I go to orbit.

                • Destiny please help. i helped my friends get the pvp sword quest to kill 25 enemys with a sword. ive done everything they have done and he just gives me another quest that i cant complete, which is Complete a pvp game in the daily section, ive played so many games to not even complete this.

                  Posting this here as well hoping bungie finds it. Some players on the Xbone are unable to do the daily on 10/8/15. Not a bug with the daily; The Wakening mission as well as Seige of the Warmind are being locked out of hard difficulty. Seems to affect any characters made after ttk including the preview week before the expansion was fully released. It states we must complete the eris quest to unlock it even though under most threads i've read including my own, her quest line has been completed 100%. Not sure if this is affecting other consoles as well. Edit: Affecting microsoft consoles as far as I know. Also character creation before of after ttk seems not to be a factor.

                    • hi im having a similer problem to others.. ive had disc copies of this game from the begining i aslo got the expansion pass as the seaon pass.. then bought a legendary edition of taken king for the 360 i also got the digital collectors edition of taken king for the 360 mainly as the noise from the cd drive annoys me ive been playing it fine for ages up to now today i log in everything looks normal i go to the director and then while im in there all the locations lock and a splash page comes up saying your trial is over go buy the game... is this some kind of joke seriously the amount of money ive put into this game for me an my mate 2 copys of nearly everything and this happens its stupid.... ive rerun the collectors edition downloader and redownloaded the game, redownloaded the licenses, clear the hard drive cache an nothing works.. has anyone managed to get it working is bungie or microsoft going to fix this..
