This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.
[u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u]
• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

I am a day one ur one player . I purchased TTK collectors for my PS3 and ps1. The extrA stuff that comes with the collectors bundle are on my PS3 account but I can't use the legendary item . My ps4 shows I have them but I can't use them. Wtf. PS3 is in bed room for when my wife is watching tv in the living room where the ps4 is .Bungi fix plz

Is this game supposed to work now? Just downloads over and over. Cleared the cache and tried to install. It doesn't work and Microsoft support has no answers. Who to contact please?

Bungie why are you ripping of customers? I bought the taken king for my PS3 yesterday. I went and bought a ps4 today only to find out the I can not use the dlc on the PS4 without buying it again. While the other 2 dlc's can be used. I spoke to playstation and they told me " it's simply because you ( Bungie ) are wanting to make more money out of the game" well the PS4 went back to the shop and I got my money back. I will never buy one of your products again

BUNGIE WHY ARE YOU IGNORING COMMENTS AND POST ABOUT THE SPARK OF LIGHT! I have purchased the taken king. I have looked for the SOL on all of my characters both in my inventory/vault and at the postmaster. I have then deleted a character to do the first mission and still did not get it. I have tried to re-download the dlc and everything I still do not have it. why is this happening and how can I get mine?

I'm not getting legendary marks when I complete a quest that says the reward is a legendary mark?

I have never seen this upgrade available and I have all DLCs, TTK, and live in the US on an Xbox 360. Where can I find this download? Somebody please direct me, preferably from BUNGIE, since you guys said it was fixed... Thanks.

So to make sure I am following this correctly, I am now going to have to buy the game a total of [i]three[/i] times in order to get the items in the Collector's Edition since I play on the 360 and cannot get the upgrade. Not to mention buying the entire game again as I have an Xbone as well (but that's necessary, so no foul there). I see what you did there, Bungie, and let me just say that it's a poor show, old sport.

I just bought Destiny : The Taken King - Legendary Edition for PS3 game from a local retailer. Before this, I was only playing Destiny and have not bought either expansion pack. I finally bought Taken King disc to get the all the expansion packs in one go. After redeeming the codes from Playstation Store and logging back into the game; I am still getting the message that I need the The Dark Below and The House of Wolves to play those expansion packs. Why don't I have the expansion packs after redeeming the code?

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX YOUR X-BOX PROBLEM (updated and faster) 1) sign in with the profile u want to play as (without the dlc) 2)open the destiny game but DO NOT press A yet, or u will have to restart 3) sign in with the profile with the DLC using a second remote! 4) now you can press A, and TTK should work now! Hope I helped, if I didn't there are more helpful comments out there!

Still can't access taken king content on xbox one. I have uninstalled the game and reinstalled still nothing. I've tried every other suggestion. Would really appreciate a response on what I can do so I can start playing taken king. Thanks

Buddy was mid game with me and the got kicked saying his disc was unreadable and when he went to relaunch the game it started making him read download the destiny game file.l but will not go past 83%

Everyone, the fix for sharing TTK on 360 is in the links above. Clear the cashe, then re-license the console, and it will work.

What if we have already purchased the content via the online store and cannot download content?

I'm still unable to share TTK on my 360. I've cleared the cache, redownloaded everything, made sure my licenses are on this console, and I can still only play on my account. Any word on this?

STILL not able to play it. My brother bought it yesterday, played for a few hours, and when I got on a different Xbox Live Gold profile (My own on the same console.) , and It said I had to enter a code. Bungie has NOT acknowledged if this is a problem, or if I have to buy a whole new game. Which is extremely annoying. They are talking about how the golden chest count has been reset, and how some people didn't get their "moments of triumph" emblem. Isn't this just a BIT more important than that? And Bungie has not responded (to my knowledge) To ANYONE who was noted they have had this problem. Please address somebody, as this is getting aggravating and annoying at this point.
