This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

Hi, I pre-ordered the digital Collector's Edition and have yet to receive my Jade Rabbit Scout Rifle or any of the Legendary Armor Sets for the ps4. I participated in the events and such along with checking everything in the tower and I still have yet to receive my items. Do you know how long it will take to fix this?

Dear, Bungie I have been having some serious issues playing destiny since the 2.0 update. My game will launch normally but once i am in game play my whole xbox 360 seems to crash. I will first loose 95% of the games audio and a few minutes later my 360 crashes. If i try to exit the game when i lose audio that also crashes my xbox. Im have to say im pretty disappointed. As a day one player, I already felt the price was high for the taken king and now i cant even play what i paid for. I Haven't been able to finish a mission since the 2.0 update. I already re downloaded the 2.0 update twice and it has done nothing. I love the way you interact with your community, Bungie and would really appreciate some advice or feedback, what i am experiencing is just not acceptable. Thanks for your time

Is there any difference between the TTK - Digital Download - DLC for Veteran Players (VIP rewards) and the New DLC TTK - Collection Edition Improvement? I bought both and did not see difference.

I was lvl 34 way before 8/31. Pre ordered TTK. And don't have the Veteran's Tour quest available. Never got any items either. No VIP rewards anywhere.

Hello, I am not getting glimmer when playing, My hunter 39 or warlock 32, the only time I get glimmer is when I use consumables, and that isnt very much, any idea as to why? Also, do I need to do something special for the strike list to appear with the new strikes? And no I do not have 25000 glimmer

Hello. I purchased the physical collectors edition for Xbox one. I was wanting to play with some of my friends on the 360 and the content is not available. I don't care about being able to use the class items or other things obtained with the collectors edition I just want to play the content on my 360. Is this an issue that is being worked on or do I have to re-purchase the taken king game to play it on 360?

now that the xbox live alert is gone I still don't have access to the content which I have purchased. I redeemed the code and it downloaded the file but the director still asks for me to purchase the content, I get the there will be issues on release of such a large DLC, but I am very displeased with this and the lack of help on this forum and lack of a specific support service to deal with these issues seeing as I have paid money and have nothing to show for it... a speedy reply and solution to this is not a request, it is a demand and an instruction you are expected to follow

I find it funny that for what they charge for content that there is no easy way to contact bungie... All their ways to contact them try to reroute you to these forums... I preordered TTK, got the shader and the emblem... A bit basic if you ask me... But no weapons... If the shader and emblem is the entire preorder pack then I am def let down by TTK... The enemies are basically just re skinned versions of enemies we already seen with maps that we already been... The dreadnought is a visual let down... Doesn't seem worth the price of making our year one exotics useless

OK here is the deal my brother brought the taken king of our Xbox360 right, and when i played the first time after downloading it the game worked fine i picked up my Suros package and the vip rewards then i leave to go to Guitar practice then when i got back into the game it said for everything that I Still need the taken king but my brother downloaded it already and it worked before then i found out other players were complaining about this, and i checked the post above, and i tried all of it yet it still did not fix, and only god knows how to fix it. Now i'm sick and tired of this I WANT HELP not random solutions.

I didn't get any of the new emotes when I launched my game. They weren't waiting at the postmaster, and they aren't in the emote place down by the jukebox. I had the preorder, I redeemed all my codes, and still nothing. How do I get them?

Are u serious about those weapons in pre order pack? We paid 20 extra for uncommon weapons that are weaker then yr 1 weapons we came in with!

"The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360." I'm extremely confused by this, as the store claimed it was available yesterday and that is what I purchased at the time. Am I going to lose the extra content because I didn't pay the ridiculous amount of $80 for the full Collector's Edition?

Digtial content for Xbox One is still not working, I've uninstalled everything and reinstalled but I still can't recive my shader nor my weapons. What's the point in pre-ordering if I can't use the content or by the time I can it's completely worthless?

I am a day one ur one player . I purchased TTK collectors for my PS3 and ps1. The extrA stuff that comes with the collectors bundle are on my PS3 account but I can't use the legendary item . My ps4 shows I have them but I can't use them. Wtf. PS3 is in bed room for when my wife is watching tv in the living room where the ps4 is .Bungi fix plz
