This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

It helped me.

I still only have the exotics on one character after buying collectors edition.

I cant buy the taken king on the xbox live store or on xbox.com. It says its "unavailable". Can anyone help me?

I think I have missing exotics I received an unusual exotic engram from the cryptarc and it became the hawk moon, but I did not recieve the exotic class specific unique item. I paid for it I should be getting it. I actually think its funny since it was the cryptarc's painted package that alluded to something wrong. All my characters are lvl34 possible thats related but I would like what I paid for. I also noted previous post my Gamestop pre-ordered red sparrow has also disappeared. I'm not surprised, but I would've liked to have my 1st and 2nd pre-order stuff be relavent throughout destiny's game life. I kept hearing people that bought the game all over again would be getting something special aside from VIP rewards I'm not sure I see anything there either or should I be? thank you for your time

What the heck bungie all the hard work and I don't get what I needed or wanted. Also I have missions that isn't popping up on my other characters, and it says I have rewards at the tower yet it doesn't have any at the tower at all.

On 9/14/15 I received an email offering me exclusive items and vip items for being a year 1 guardian with both expansion packs if I preorder the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD OF THE TAKEN KING FOR GAURDINS THAT ALREDY OWN DESTINY, EXPANSION PACK I AND EXPAINSION PACK II. I used the link provided in the email which took me to www.destinythegame.com/wheretobuy. I selected my platform from the list provided on the website (xbox 360) for the digital download for $39.99 and clicked buy now, then a disclaimer appeared making sure I understood that I needed to own destiny and both expansion packs 1 and 2 and to make sure I sign in to the retailers site to confirm I own said content. After clicking I understand a page powered by "PRICESPIDER" appears within the destiny the game website and gives me the option to preorder from xbox marketplace. I click buy and I'm then redirected to xbox store with the offer mentioned above. After I signed in to the xbox website the price point of $39.99 appeared but the buy button was only for XBOX ONE and had NO option to change it to XBOX 360. I immediately called xbox for help with this matter and I was told it was an issue with Bungie and they are trying to fix it but to insure my preorder. to complete the purchase for offer even if it says it's for xbox one, that it will be getting fixed. Called xbox today to check on the progress of my problem as there website states the error code that others were getting is resolved and was told Bungie is the one that has to fix my issue to ensure I still get the preordered items.... ok bungie, what do I have to do now to get this resolved?? I have now lost 2 days of game play!

Can I purchase the Taken King dlc only? Cause I can't even purchase it and sadly it's a let down to know that others that purchased the collectors edition can play it. I can't pay legendary nor collectors edition. Sadly will wait for the original purchase..

I have a missing quest which is the one where you speak to Amanda Holliday in the Tower for quest which starts with Cruciblw The Last Word kills. I accepted the quest and it didn't appear in the my active quests, nor my abandoned quests.

I purchased the Legendary edition off the Xbox marketplace but my game is still saying "requires taken King". On the Xbox 360. How do I fix this?

What about the fact that i cant play the taken king if my brother bought it on the same Xbox, and it clearly states that i can Bungie i'm getting very impatient i just want to play the taken king, and not let my brother waste 40 dollars, and i cant play

I don't know if this question has been answered yet but, does anyone know why the collectors edition for PS3 is broken and says that you don't even have ttk, I can show proof that I have bought the digital collectors edition on the transaction history and everything. I would just like to play the thing I spent £70 on you know?

Need some help, I just bought Destiny the Taken King collectors edition off the marketplace for the Xbox One on 9/15/2015, after it was finish installing I tried to open and play the game, The game proceeded to sign me in then I received this error code: "ATTENTION, Destiny servers are not available. Dismiss this message to try again. For more information, visit help.bungie.net." I have tried everything from restarting my Xbox to reinstalling the game, my cousin even got on my account from his Xbox and sure enough he got through on his Xbox. I contacted Microsoft support and they informed me that their is nothing wrong with my account. If their is any information on this it would be a big help, thanks

sooooooo i send an email saying i spoke to microsoft support and went through the bungie support forums none of it worked and i still cant download or even put the taken king into queue..... the response email was a link to all the support lists i already told them didnt work so im taking it as there way of saying f*** you and we dont care? so we gonna fix this or compensate for the annoyances or we gonna just sweep this whole thing under the rug and say screw it?

I am player on PS3 user ID raziel76pr completed MOT probably about 10-15 days before the end of year one. I was looking for my emblem. Now it is showing I found 0 of 20 golden chest and not finished MOT. Please help
