This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.
[u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u]
• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Don't know why this would be hard to do when I'm just going to buy the taken king for the PS4 with the $40.00 I used to pre-order it on the PS3. No lost to Bungie, Activision, or Sony. The money is going to the same product but just on a different platform. Just think it would be messed up if they would not do this, to make ppl buy it twice because of a misunderstanding or a mistake in purchasing is wrong. A UNHAPPY CUSTOMER = A UNHAPPY COMPANY... A HAPPY CUSTOMER = A HAPPY COMPANY.. Was not aware that march/ 21/ 2015 was the last day for transfers from PS3 to PS4.

So i wanted to buy the taken king for ps3. I went on with my 50$ in my wallet. Searched for The Taken King and what do i see: I'm not able to purchase the taken king!!!!!!! Please fix that :(

I hate to just repeat a problem that everyone else seems to be having BUT I will anyway!! Bought the 360 Legendary Taken King. Redeemed the codes for Taken King and Weapons Pack, as i had all other content downloaded from standard Destiny. Both appear as downloaded in game folder but when I kick off the game all Taken King content is still locked. I spoke to a young chap at Xbox and he informed me that it is a Bungie problem and they 'HOPE' to have it sorted by tomorrow morning. Pretty shoddy really and pretty awful customer service. Was wondering if anyone is still having this issue and if anyone has succeeded with a work around.....that doesn't involve witty comments like buy a PS4 or Xbox One? Thanks chaps and chappettes!!

Dear bungie, I love your game very much and it has climbed to great heights in my favorite games of all time but here are the main problems I have with the taken king dlc which never arose before - you can't transfer taken king from old gen to next gen (Xbox in my case) and I play 360 with my main friends who can't switch over to Xbox one yet. And this is only for the taken king which is bull crud in my book - you can't transfer taken king from account to account for your great friends or relatives which just arose in the taken king. Not completely sure but it wouldn't work with me and my cousin license transferring - which all of these complaints from me never arose in the regular destiny or expansions 1 and 2 so I would suggest changing these quickly because like to of people are fed up with these problems. Prime example look on the top trending conversations in the forum or help forum and you will see what I mean - lastly, not everybody has the money to buy the collectors edition for old gen and new gen just to get the special 20 dollar bonus pack Bungie, again I love your game and many people do but your 10 year project might run short if you keep this backwards pace going

Hey by tie right don't know if anyone else is having this problem but I'm playing the taken king And everything that is multiplayer based seems to not be working haven't run in to a single person On patrol can't play crucibl and if I play vanguard strike playlist still end up doing alone Don't know if you are aware of this but would like to know anything I can do to get this Working again playing on Xbox one

I would love it to be able to have a whinge about weapon drops, mission problems, armour drops and all things Taken King!! BUT (and much like that kardashian bird it is a big old BUT) I STILL CANNOT access Taken King content!! Come on Bungie, any estimated time as to when this is going to be resolved? It is really beginning to take the pee now!!

Seriously bungie you need to fix the taken king standalone on the xbox one I've already missed a lot of the experience that my friends have even though they somehow got the standalone version of the taken king and they don't even know how they got it without the unavailable thing

I have upgraded to the PS4 on 8/01/15 . The TDB dlc and HOW dlc transfer over to the PS4 but not the TTK dlc . This is not a PS3 disc game it is a digital dlc add on content . So why didn't it transfer over . I already paid $40.00 for the digital add on content I have the receipt. Sony is telling me it should have transfer over because it is a digital dlc add on content and not a PS3 standalone disc game. Then they told me to reinstall the game and to rebuild the database which I have done 12 hr. download time . Still no TTK dlc . I can see it in my service list but not in my add ons for Destiny .. I can see the Destiny Expansion Pass , Destiny Expansion 1: THE DARK BELOW , and Destiny Expansion 2: THE HOUSE OF WOLVES.. So is this the new scam to turn a $40.00 digital dlc add on content in to a $80.00 digital dlc add on content?? That is how much the whole game cost $79.99 Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition is.. This goes against Sony's up grade transfer you know the whole sales pitch they used for the PS4. You can up grade but not down grade.. So why is TTk not transferring over to the PS4. It's not a whole new game , it's a add on a dlc.. If my brother up graded to a PS4 now will he have to buy TTK again? Obviously he won't have to buy the TDB dlc or HOW dlc again because they transfer over to the PS4 just fine. So why is TTK's digital dlc add on content not transferring over from the PS3 to the PS4? It's not a whole new standalone game. It's a DLC a ADD-ON to the standalone game. My next step is to see if I can file a lawsuit on BUNGIE and ACTIVISION to get my $40.00 back plus some to pay for the lawyer. Enough of this flat out scamming gamers for a little more money... This will make ppl not want to up grade to next gen console . $400.00 + $60.00 + $40.00 + P+ = $5??.00 .. just to get what you had on the old one..

I just recently got off of chat with an Xbox Live representative. I bought the Taken King yesterday, from the game, and let it download fully. I even ensured that it was in my purchase history. Yet, I still cannot play any Taken King stuff. It just takes me to the page to download it again. I cleared the cache, restored my license, and launched via my games on the dashboard. Nothing is working, and I am getting extremely frustrated with Bungies lack of support via their page. Please help.

Start fixing reward glitchers in the game please :(. It is disheartening to do a nice and pretty fun questline when you know a good reward is waiting and then you get nothing.

We paid $80 for TTK CE and only one of our two members of our family can play (we're on the same console). When will this be fixed or when can I get a refund for faulty software? Your guys' identification of problems and communication of solutions/workarounds has been horrible. You need to step up your game and pay more attention to these forums. There is a lot of ill will being generated due the lack of response here, potentially unnecessarily.
